Zhengs Asian Market — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

This place is seriously awesome. I am a commuter to SBU and saw the change, I went in here a couple times and love it. The owners are the nicest people ever, please support them, the selection is of course more aim at the local students which is fair but I have to say such a nice selection of Chinese snacks and Japanese stuff as well! By the way I think it is 5% or 10% off if you are a SBU student! Go here now!

Another shout out to the owners they are just awesome people who are kind and deserve the business! There are a couple of Asian good stores around Stony Brook area, I say support all but really give Zheng's a visit first! Also the owners will always see if they get you an item if you can't find something!

Just went there today and I will never step foot into that store again. There were these two girls in front of me and right after they left the couples started shit talking about them expecting no one in the store to understand what they were saying. Moving on forward, I saw that they had eggs and the tag said 4.99/each. So I went to ask the lady oh the eggs are only 4.99/ each. She was rude and made this face and was like who said its 4.99 and then I was like oh the tag said 4.99/each and then she went looking in the fridge and was like where, where, where is the tag u see. I went up pointing it to her and then she was like oh we just never fixed it its actually 16.99/each. I feel like they treat people based on whether or not it provides...

Wanted to get some Xiao Long Bao for lunch but found out they were frozen so I got this noodle soup instead. This is a really nice grocery store for all your Asian snacks, drinks and groceries. It's a family run business and the owners are super friendly. This place is NOT S2-Mart, new ownership but at the same location. Convenient parking right in front and just across the train station. Stony Brook students, staff and faculty get 10% off which is nice!

It would be cool in the long run, if they can keep some fresh baked items during lunch time and maybe even dinner time so that people can have a quick snack while shopping. They accept credit cards and cash.

I ended up getting the Xiao Long Bao too, can't wait to steam...
