Staller Center offers both fine films as well as live entertainment. You may find an acrobatic circus troupe performing for both young and old on one occasion. Perhaps, to your delight, you will listen to fine classical music performed by graduate students, the finest offerings east of Manhattan. We went to see Heriditary movie there, $10 on a Friday night in october 2018. Cozy seats, they rarely showcase horror movies there they explained while seated. It wasnt scary to my btw but not staller center's fault of course. I had my school ID from 30 years ago to jokingly show the ticket person but she was unamused (my alma mater) . Went to see Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra here for a Max Roach centennial celebration.

The performance was good, but the sound was WAY too brash and loud. There was no good reason to amplify the band to that degree. Had they played with little to no reinforcement, it would have been much easier to sit through.
