More than likely never going back. I don’t normally complain about customer service bc I am a clerk, but upon finding a priced expansion for sale I was really excited, and I said to the cashier “this isn’t supposed to be released yet” and was about to buy it when he said “thanks for bringing that to my attention. I can’t sell it.”

I was like “you’re kidding right, you’re not going to sell it to me?” And he said “I can’t, but I’ll hold it for you till tomorrow”

I understand street dates, but it’s not my fault it was priced for sale early. The right thing would be to honor their mistake, sell me the copy, and pull any others. This was pitiful customer service, and like I said I’m more than likely...

Always had a neutral opinion of this place until we started seeing the absolutely insane price gouging, especially on MTG collector boxes. Charging literally $75 more for the Bloomburrow collector box than MSRP and even other comparable game stores in the area, i.e. Chimera Hobby Shop, inc. Please note, this review is only for MTG and TCG merchandise. Their sleeve and box inventory is also slim.

I have played Friday Night Magic at this store from time to time. Today one of the owners was there, Paula, and when we finished she decided there would be no prizes, when usually everyone would at least get a promo card, and occasionally they would give away promo packs. Their sealed box prizes are at least $50 dollars higher than any store in the Fox Valley. When I told the staff that I would never come back to this store they acted as though they did not even care. No wonder why this store is mostly empty most of the time. If you need gaming products drive past Gnome Games, and go to another local gaming store that wants and appreciates...
