The short: order a la carte for pick-up as the dine-in all-you-can-eat is not worth what they charge.
I will say this: the food came out quickly and was hot and tasted good, but it's very over priced for what you get without any ability to customize anything, or even send notes to the kitchen on your own. The iPad is a nice system, but why not utilize the technology and let customers add a note? I was able to flag down a server (it took a while) to ask about how to alert the kitchen to my food allergies. It was nice that the staff could make it so that my excludes always printed so I didn't have to try to flag them down constantly, but still annoying as my husband can eat things I can't, but for the ease, best to just elimate ingredients entirely.
The sushi chefs did great with removing ingredients but the kitchen didn't pay attention so there were entrees that came out that I couldn't touch. That being said, the sushi bar did frequently omit things that were both pictured and described on the rolls--and they seemed quite put out when I asked a server if I could get some of the ingredient in a dish to add myself. The more expensive things were also very sparingly used, and sauces in the kitchen were over used. (Which was sad as the sauces are very heavy on the salt and it just overpowered the taste.)
When you're done, since the servers don't really come to the table except to quickly drop off food, it's really hard to flag someone to let them know you'd like the bill. I'm guessing ordering dessert probably is their normal cue, but the dessert menu is lacking--some ice creams, orange slices and a three pieces of fried banana are your options. Eventually we just stacked our dishes and placed the iPad face down on the table and that seemed to do the trick.
Honestly, it's not worth the $31.99 per adult (plus beverages, not even a soda is included in that price) for the all-you-can-eat for what you actually get. For that price, I'd rather go to Island Sushi where for less I can customize to my hearts content or to Big Pot and Grill where at least if I'm spending $70 for dinner for two I'm getting a few pounds of seafood cooked to perfection and just way more and better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is amazing. I love sushi š£ and Iāve eaten at just about every sushi place in the Green Bay and Appleton Areaā¦Akame Sushi is the best out of all of them. The price is very reasonable (expect about $22 for lunch and $32 for dinner per person). There is PLENTY on the menu (which is an iPad at your table - for you to just add whatever you want from the menu w/ pictures and it comes out very quickly). If you are coming with a non-sushi lover, there is plenty on the menu for them too. Everything comes out hot and delicious. For real. The food and flavors are justā¦chefs kiss so good. Even the udon š ⦠something so basicā¦but so much good flavor! Everything tasted very fresh. I half expected them to come out and ask me to stop ordering so much tuna sashimiā¦it was so good! The staff is super friendly and give off great vibes. I cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for the delicious food!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery clean, ambiance is nice, music is just the right volume, and the wait staff is very friendly. Due to using tablets to order everything, there is no need to be constantly checked on so you can enjoy your meal; there is a button to call staff on the tablet if you need anything.
Food is absolutely fantastic, very high quality and tastes amazing. For 30 bucks you get to sample everything on the menu you could want, and as much as you want.
Take all you want but eat what you take. They very correctly charge extra if you waste too much; if you try something and hate it they won't penalize you but if you leave too much to go to waste you will get charged, which makes good environmental and business sense. It is however, doubtful that you will dislike anything on the menu if you are a sushi lover, it is all so well prepared
Presentation, which for me isn't a big deal, is also top notch and showcases the chef's skills and reflects that they clearly take pride in their work.
Considering that you can get some garbage fast food that costs 15 bucks a person, spending 30 for top notch, high quality, delicious sushi is an absolute no-brainer. If you like sushi, this is hands down the best option; quality is just as good as the other local...
