Festival Foods — Local services in Town of Buchanan

DO NOT COME HERE FOR POSTAL SERVICE. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I have been coming into this store for like a month to do my post office stuff and always have a pleasant interaction with the short blonde girl at service desk who works nights. I happened to have free time earlier so I came by at my not regular time to see two boys who I’ve never seen before up there. I told them what I needed and when I asked if they were sure what they were doing is correct they swore they were doing it right. Then they proceeded to find out they were wrong and had to peel off the postage partially ripping my envelopes that are going to customers. And they swore once again they figured out what they did wrong and still didn’t do it right. They were gonna rip off the sticker again and I no longer felt comfortable letting them handle it. There was a lady up front named Britney and she seemed like she may know what’s going on, but then she told me I was going to have to fill out forms for signatures and tracking, which I haven’t done at all in the last month I have been stopping by. I don’t even have to do it at the post office when I occasionally stop there. I was getting upset and frustrated and the lady tells me I must have been having it all done wrong then, so I leave.

I cannot believe only one person working there knows what they are doing. I’ll just have to make the drive to the post office from now on unless I see the usual...

I’ve bought many expired products from here… sadly because I forget in between to always check the dates! So, after another experience of finding another very expired product recently bought from there in my fridge… my boyfriend and I went to get taco ingredients for supper, we remembered to check the dates. And, to our disgust… we found about 30 expired hot sauces and several expired taco shells in our one shopping experience. We weren’t even looking specifically for expired products at all. Just our normal brands that we double checked before we bought and they were expired. Food is to expensive for their employees to not be rotating and double checking dates! And after we pulled all of the expired goods we found and brought them to the service desk and explained to the woman working… she didn’t seem to care much and just stood there not doing anything about anything. I don't know if anyone else has been having bad experiences from the deli dept, but 2 weeks ago, my housekeeper went to the store and bought sliced deli ham. I went to use it the next day and it was grey around the edges and was slimy. I called the store and was told to return it for a refund. I am disabled and don't drive hardly ever. I can't just run it back to the store. Then yesterday she bought cut up carrots and I opened them today and they are slimy!! I can't afford to be buying spoiled food n just throw it away because I can't run it back to the store for refunds!! Gas n groceries cost too much to be wasting money.Is it the stores practice to be selling spoiled food?? Are they mixing expired groceries with the fresh ones now??
