Burger King — Restaurant in Town of Buchanan

Place an order in the app for Pick Up. It said that it would be ready at 1:04, so I arrived at 1pm in case they were quicker than expected. At 1:05 I went yo the doors thinking that maybe I was supposed to go into the vestibule, but the doors were locked. I waited until 1:10 and reluctantly joined the ridiculously long drive thru line, which was the reason I ordered for "Pick Up". When I finally got to the window at 1:21, I asked the manager if they didn't ACTUALLY do pick up and he replied "no". I suggested that they should remove it from their app as an option to avoid having people sit out there waiting for nothing to happen. He didn't respond in any way so I told him that I was parked out front waiting for my order for quite a while, to which he shrugged his shoulders, raised his hands, and walked away. All in all it wasn't a huge deal. It was his lack of concern that was most upsetting. He wasn't a young kid, which would almost be understandable, but a man in his mid 40s to 50s...my age. From the customer service generation... Somebody may make the same mistake and end up missing their lunch or dinner because they're on a 30 minute break... Fix this BK. And fix the blue shirt manager at VanRoy Rd in Appleton.

Fantastic crew. Restaurant, including bathrooms, was clean. Food came fast, was hot, and was delicious. This Burger King is running like a finely tuned machine. Well done!

Google doesn't seem to want me to leave another separate review for this location, so I'm simply adding to a review I left about a year ago. I stopped in here with my nephew on 25 August 2024. I was impressed from the get-go. Everything was clean and well organized -- yes, even the bathroom. The employee who took my order (Luci) was simply awesome; she was extremely polite, respectful, and attentive. Luci paid close attention to detail, so my order was served quickly, hot, and correct the first time. I talked to the manager on my way out; it's quite clear why my experience was the way it was -- great staff with great leadership. Well...

*EDIT. I went back and they not only got me fresh fries and a heartfelt apology. But a coupon for a free meal to use whenever. Changing my review to match the wonderful response of the team there. Bonus points to the manager for not ragging on the staff, but kindly reminding them to quality check and helped them fill the order.)

A very good alternative to other fast food. However I was very disappointed when I got home and saw how old and dry and shriveled my fries were. I was there in the middle of the day during a dead time... guess I should have asked for fresh cuz these were clearly sitting out for ages. Why would anyone look at these and think "yes this is okay to give to someone" sad. I was really was craving the fries in particular. I'll change my review if I can get...
