When you work in a creative and artistic field for a living, it is hard to find something that checks all the boxes. I started to realize in my wedding dress shopping journey that I may need to go custom in order to get exactly what I was looking for. And low and behold I found myself at my fourth wedding dress shop at Pickyglam Bridal. At that point I knew what cut of dress I wanted and certain aspects of a dress (like boning) I knew was an absolute No. It took 4 dresses to find THE ONE here, but it needed some customizations to truly sell the dress, the shop owner knew the designer by name, and this designer was willing to do these customizations for me included in the sticker price of the dress. I was THRILLED. When I found out I was expecting, I was able to get my dress sized up just in case my body composition changed before the wedding giving me peace of mind that nonmatter how my training regimen was going, that I was going to be able to wear my creation. Pickyglam Bridal, along with the designer of Madioni, had no problem making that adjustment for me without charge. Again, for some reason American designers just put a price tag on customer service, and I think it's wrong. I'll probably never buy an American dress again after how well I was treated as a customer through Pickyglam Bridal. For how much beading and detail is on my fit and flare dress, it is light weight, it was comfortable, and it is a unique creation that I was able to dream up with Madioni. My Wedding Planner (WP) is an amazing human being who got me in touch with Pickyglam Bridal Fashion (PBF) company after a terrible experience in NY. Long story short, I flew my bridal party to NY to a bridal boutique and the experience was just terrible. While they had the dress of my dreams, I wasn't willing to spend a dime at this venue due to poor customer service. My WP came to the rescue and found my dream dress at PBF and connected with Lana. Lana responded to my WP immediately and provided detailed information. My WP then connected me with Lana and Lana took over...like the boss she is. Lana was attentive, provided minute by minute updates, sent text messages, walked me through the dress buying process, appeased my fears, talked about the designer of my dress, explained fitting, and so much more. ALL of my transactions were virtual but you couldn't tell me that I didn't have an amazing "hands-on" experience with Lana. My dress was made and delivered as described and it was early. Professional, so knowledgeable, and you can see she cares about what she does. Regarding the dresses, the gowns are GORGEOUS. Such high quality. I was looking for something unique and high end but with options within budget...and this is the spot. I've sent so many emails and Lana is very timely with her communication, keeps my thoughts in mind and sent recommendations that potentially aligned with my vision for the big day as new dresses came out.
