I went to dinner with my 3 little girls ages 1, 5 & 7 on Sunday, August 29th. We had a long day and were looking forward to an easy dinner. I paid up front and my little ones ran to the bathroom.
As they were gone I clarified that you either wore gloves or used sanitizer or both. The lady was kind and told me your choice, but minimally you must use sanitizer. No big deal, I expected that!
I went up with my kiddos and got them each a plate and helped them with the drinks. We sat down at the table closest to the dining area. My 7 year old wanted another pizza and went to grab herself some and noticed it was gone. She asked I believe Sandy and she said it’d be right out. As she was waiting she was looking at the salad area and another guest told her to “Step back,” yes an adult guest. I was watching and noticed something was off by my daughters expression. I walked over and said what’s going on. Sandy* said “Children under 10 are supposed to be accompanied by and adult at the buffet” I gave a strange look and shook my head, and said “No one told me that”, she said “Yes, sorry she forgot to tell you”
The same guest who said something to my daughter then said “Don’t shake your head, it makes sense”.... clearly had I known I would have been with my child.
We ended up leaving, still hungry, not finishing our plates- because after the very long day this was the last thing I needed. What a waste, I was a VERY frequent regular customer of yours, I’ve never been told that in all my times of going.
I’d like my $24 back and maybe some time to think if I’ll...
Read moreWell, first I want to express my sincerest sympathy for the loss the Elkhorn store recently experienced in one of their staff members. Our Prayers are with the Pizza Ranch Elkhorn Family.
I work for Lake Geneva Youth Camp, and we hosted our 22nd Annual Golf Classic event. I went to the Elkhorn location to ask for a generous donation to feed our volunteers and was first met by the AGM Marissa F., who made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. She took my request and said she would need to work out the details with the GM Destinee H. Before I got back to the office, I received an email response of "yes" they could fulfill my request. The whole team was happy to hear that news. I later placed my order and followed up with Destinee, that the order was received and would be fulfilled at my scheduled time of pickup 10:00 AM, 5/24.
Day of pickup... FLAWLESS Execution!! Food was ready on time, and they even threw in a couple of desserts, and some coupons for us to come back and visit (WELLDONE!!). Both of them helped me load my car. I was overjoyed, and the volunteers devoured ALL of it!!
Talk about "Legendary Experience", You nailed it!!! I will always tell this story to others who ask me about Pizza...
