One of my worst restaurant experiences ever. I was given a burrito that was so poorly wrapped it fell apart in my hands. I took it up to the counter and an employee asked if he could help me. I told him I couldn't eat the burrito because it was falling apart. He told me he could NOT make me a new burrito, but he could give me a new tortilla and I could remake it myself. Really?? That's how it is at Chipotle? What other restaurant, or any business, gives you a bad product, then tells you they will give you some new parts, and you can put your old parts with the new parts and make it yourself? After initially asking if he could help me, the employee rarely make eye contact with me as he continued to do something else. The cashier stood there listening and watching the whole episode and she never offered any assistance either. When I wouldn't accept his response of make it myself, he said I would have to talk to some else further down the line. I don't know who he wanted me to talk to, or what would have come from that, but at that point I put the burrito pieces in the garbage and left. Calling the Chipotle customer number wasn't much better. A lot of apologizes, but no action, unless I can send a copy of my bank statement to chipotle for them to review. I use the rewards app, but the customer service rep told me the app is not working properly and they are unable to verify my order. So the in store employees either don't know the company policy, or they are trained to no follow the policy, and the app doesn't work either. What does work...
Read moreI really did like this place. The steak was pretty good. However, today I went in for lunch and I was going to get a steak burrito. When the lady was about to scoop out the steak she noticed there was barely any left. Some other guy interrupted her and said "Oh we don't have any steak." I asked if they could just give me what was left and then the rest chicken, which the lady did.
When I got rung up, the guy said it was a chicken burrito then said "sorry, I meant to say steak." I asked if it should've been chicken (as chicken is about $2 less) instead due to there being barely any steak and the guy said "Oh, there was chicken and steak on there so it should've been extra but there's steak on there like you wanted anyways."
Well excuse me you little a$$hat for thinking you might be generous to a customer due to a shortage of supply. Apparently this place doesn't work like that. This wasn't the first time they've had a shortage of steak either. I will be taking my business to Qdoba from now on after I save up enough points for a free burrito from Chipotle since I'm so close. Only thing better here was the steak anyways, little cheaper at Qdoba as well as a few more ingredients and options.
Only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star is because of the other experiences I had. Had this been my first experience, it would've been an...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. The only thing we got correct with our order was the side of guacamole. We ordered 2 burritos and got those as bowls and we ordered 2 bowls and got those as burritos. The salad we got had NO LETTUCE. Not sure where these people are from but around her we put lettuce in our salads. We also got the wrong salsa put in a bowl and a lot of lettuce put in when we wanted light lettuce in the burrito. When I tried to call i got some automated thing to talk to. I wanted to talk with an actual person but that wasn’t even an option. So we drove to the restaurant and when I talked to the lady she wasn’t very helpful and didn’t seem to care. All i wanted was a refund but of course she couldn’t help with that. She gave me a number to call to get a refund and after being on the phone for a while and barely being able to hear/understand what she was saying and being told that I might not get a refund because there wasn’t enough wrong with my order they finally gave...
