United States Postal Service — Local services in Town of Cazenovia

If I could give them negative stars I would. I have never in my life dealt with such rude and lazy people like the group that works at the Cazenovia post office. If you go in to pick up a package or ship a package the clerks are always rude. If you want your packages actually delivered to your house it depends on the carrier and if THEY FEEL LIKE IT. Thank you for making sure to stop and drop junk mail in the mail box everyday and yet again proving to be a waste of U.S. resources. If you call and complain to management you get told it’s up to the carrier?? So what is the manager actually managing if the carrier gets to make all the decisions. After making a couple Facebook post I was met with many others in the village and around Cazenovia who also have a lot of negative things to say about the type of service you get from the Cazenovia...

Had the post office call at 654am saying that we had a package that needed to be picked up. Got to the post office at 8am- the lobby says it’s open at 7 doors were locked. The window hours said 830 but I could Hear people in the back and since they called and asked to pick the package up I rang the bell for service I rang it and waited I could hear people in the back. Rang it again and then knocked….I heard the lady in the back say she wasn’t going to open the door to her co worker so I walked out for a few minutes and went back in. Rang the bell and knocked no answer then I double rang the bell and she finally opened the door and said oh I didn’t hear the bell! Don’t call at 654 to come pick up a package if you’re not going to be available...

I'm not sure why anyone would review a post office unless they were angry, which appears to be why most of the other reviewers rated the Caz Post Office, but here I am. I went to look at their hours on-line and noticed the poor reviews, so I got interested and read them. In any event, I showed up during their posted business hours and had a very positive experience. I needed stamps. They had them. I needed to mail some tax docs. They asked if I needed them postmarked today. I did, and they postmarked them. Five...
