Went on 7/26 for my husband's birthday as I had been there years before without outstanding service (although we were in the dining room - maybe that was the difference). We were seated out on the patio which was fine. We ordered wine for each of us and saw etchings on the side of the wine glass, as a lot of restaurants use the same thing for measuring, but noted that the wine was not even up to the line for the regular pour on either of our glasses. We ordered a second glass and again it was under poured. We mentioned this to the server who just shrugged and stated that she doesn't pour the wine. We then asked if she could take it back to get additional pour for my husband and she said she would bring out the additional in a separate glass. We did not touch our wine until she returned, we poured the additional into my husband's glass and it barely came above the first etching line indicating that we were well underserved. You wouldn't mind normally if the wine was inexpensive, but at 14.50 for a larger serving of wine you get a little upset. The food, for us was mediocore. I wanted the rack of lamb and the baked brie which was shown on the internet as being items on their menu, but were not on the menu when we got there as was a lot of items missing that is shown on the internet. This was frustrating as we knew what we wanted to eat. So my husband and I had crab cakes and calamari for apps, strip steak and Chicken Parm for dinner. Neither were something we would rush back for. The topping on the steak was not appetizing. And my chix parm was ordinary. I indicated to the server we were there for my husbands birthday figuring that just maybe he would get a treat. I ordered the brownie and ice cream when nothing was mentioned. It arrived with barely enough ice cream to have with the brownie and again was nothing outstanding. We then observed our server deliver a bowl of ice cream with a candle to another table and indicating to the table to be quiet for the surprise. So sorry, if you can do for one table, why not another? We will not rush back...

Read moreAugust 2021 update. Very disappointed. This is our first time staying here, despite dining here a number of times. The room (junior suite) is a nice size and tastefully done. Comfortable. There was, however, no parking. Parking is included but no spaces for our stay were available. We advised the front desk and were told some spaces should open up soon. They didn't. Parked illegally, despite our significant rate. Housekeeping is horrible. The place is in desperate need of deeper and even basic cleaning. Carpets have not been vacuumed in quite some time. (Pictures may not do it justice...not what you expect at this price point). Never walked up the filthy stairs. The rooms need basic maintenance. Our closet door was locked from the inside. Ceilings have drywall tape hanging. Lots of paint scraped walls. Bathrooms need basic cleaning and general maintenance. We also dined. Steaks were fine - small but fine. Mashed and veggies were great. The parmesan chicken dish was mixed. The chicken was tasty. The red sauce was out of a dollar store jar or something. Not even basic seasoning. Never again with the sauce. Next am brought about a continental breakfast only Motel 6 would celebrate. Nearly $200 a night for a room and we are served half pieces of toast in baggies and Cheerios containers. There wasn't even enough for all the guests. Not that anyone was knocking themselves over for it. So we went out to breakfast. This stay lacked even basic attention to detail. Change in ownership? The only reason this is no one star review is because of our past good dining experiences. Owners should take notice and care a little bit more about the product they are providing. January 2021: Very good food. Steak was cooked as requested. Nice atmosphere. The service, however, is very slow. Plan on spending...
