Bimi's Cheese Shop — Local services in Town of Chatham

Wanted to grab a cup of coffee somewhere. They had a little chalkboard out front that said they had coffee and espresso. Thought I'd give a try. I mean it's only coffee we're talking about. Shop itself is nice, lots of different cheeses and Specialty items. A lot of offerings for such a small space. There were two people sitting down in the window eating and two people outside waiting for food as well. After waiting 5 minutes for my coffee or I should say to even being acknowledged finally I was able to get my coffee. I asked if they had a dark roast. She said "yeah it's just whatever one kind" I grabbed the coffee anyways. Honestly it just seemed as if the staff was annoyed that you walked in. By the way my coffee wasn't even hot. Normally I have to put an ice cube in it or wait 10 minutes. No biggie just a place that I won't...

I promised myself I would give this place a review, and I didn't as always, but cheese came up in a conversation and then this place did. I don't live in Chatham but I had a job here and didn't have a known place to stop for lunch. I stopped here and met some very friendly people who freely offered samples of the cheeses I was looking at. I was just there for lunch but chatted while I was waiting. They had a menu of grilled cheeses which seemed to be good artisanal recipes. I ordered a grilled cheese with blue cheese and "drunken onions". It came with a sweet and spicy coleslaw that they sell there and I don't remember the name of it. It was the best grilled cheese I ever had and the slaw was amazing. Absolutely awesome experience! I have celiac and had been begging my boyfriend to come with me for MONTHS because they have gf sandwiches and it seemed like a cute shop! Above and beyond my expectations! We came in and met one of the owners who made us feel so welcome! AWESOME cheese selections (definitely recommend the goat Gouda grie) and AWESOME staff!!
