Longtime Customers Treated Like Criminals ā Very Disappointed
My family and I have been loyal Marshalls shoppers for years. During our recent visit, we spent nearly $400 on clothes and home goods. Instead of being appreciated as paying customers, we were wrongfully accused of stealing by a store employee.
This accusation was made publicly and without any evidence, which was extremely embarrassing and hurtful. Not only did it damage our reputation, but it also created an uncomfortable and humiliating scene in front of other shoppers.
We immediately called the store and spoke to a staff member, who said she would speak with a manager and get back to us. As of now, we havenāt received any apology or resolution.
This experience was not only unacceptableāit was deeply disappointing. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially not loyal customers. Marshalls, I hope you take this seriously and train your employees to treat people with dignity and respect.
