This review isn't about the facility itself as I didn't have the displeasure of spending any time here, it's more about the staff themselves. Picture the scene : You're at work on a Saturday afternoon and your wife texts you ( you know she's at Billy Beez with your 5 year old and two year old ) telling you that her wallet has been stolen. OK it sucks but it happens, I tell her to stay there and they'll reach out to Mall Security and ultimately reach out to the Police to file a report and i'll go about cancelling our credit cards / debit cards.
Then 10 minutes later I get a call from my wife in tears saying they she has no money, my kids are getting antsy and my 2 year old is getting hungry and the staff at Billy Beez are just letting a mom with two small kids sit there in tears without checking on her and also made a "call to Mall Security" who told them that my wife has to make the call to the police and handle it with Mall Security and the Police.....are you serious, a "Crime" happens on your property and your attitude is to let the customer ( who by the way had already paid extortionate prices to spend an hour there with her kids ) handle it themselves and also sit upset with her two kids without any help or checking on her whatsoever.
Now imagine that you leave the office and drive down to console her, give her some money and wait for the Police to arrive so she's not alone. Now to end the story, she had to call Mall Security again to check and get an update ( Billy Beez staff did not ) and it turns out they found the wallet and someone had handed it in.
After my wife had left and I thanked Mall Security for their help I decided to make my way to Billy Beez to be told by their "Manager" that they followed procedure, which means their procedure clearly sucks and needs an overhaul when you're a facility that caters to Moms and Kids but when something goes wrong you don't want to lend a hand to said Mom and Kids.
Billy Beez needs to be ashamed of themselves and their staff training, Moral of the story is if you're interested in letting your kids run around and have fun while remortgaging your house to do so then Billy Beez is the place for you, but god forbid you need them to help you in a time of need as they really couldn't...
Read moreI went here with my son, daughter and a couple of friends who also had their children. Upon leaving, I was stopped and asked to show proof that my son was my child. I obviously was caught off guard by this, seeing serval families that were ahead of me leave without being stopped. They werent asked to show wristband, let alone their occupation to the children they were with. The girl who made the comment was brown skin with a tiny bun at the top of her head and overweight. When I asked her why she is asking me, she told me that I need to show proof or she would call security on me. I showed her a photo from my phone and she said " that's all you had to do, you can go " with an attitude. I was furious but I was so exhausted from the day that I decided to let it go in that moment. Moments after, my friend and her family left out of billy beez without being stopped! This situation is insane to me. My sons father is white and was not with me at that time. He favors a lot of his fathers features, particularly with the skin color. I was basically stopped as if I was kidnapping a white child ( please don't forget I was the ONLY one stopped ) when this child is MINE. A woman came up to me before we all left and told me about how my daughter had wondered off into the front and was confused on how to get back in. When she asked the staff where her mom was, they told her " I don't know " and went back to being on their phones. Apparently my daughter was about to walk back into the main part of the mall when this same kind woman redirected her back into billy Beez. I am grateful that she was attentive enough to be my eyes and ears when I had my back turned. But this begs the questions of how these workers pick and choose to do their jobs. You see my other child asking for help and looking for guidance, then ignore her, only to go on and stop me from leaving with a child who I literally birthed. It would be different if you did your job with everyone, but you clearly don't. The level of frustration I have with this situation is intense. I would never recommend this facility and unfortunately it will always have business out of convenience, seeing how it is located in the food court. There are better options and I do not...
Read moreThis place looked promising from the outside, and the prices would have been justified IF it was in good repair, safe, and had good customer service. This was our first, and likely our last trip to this location. The woman at the desk who checked us in was polite, but the gatekeeper was a jerk. He said to me as I am shepherding a 4 and 1 yr old, bags and a stroller thru the gate "hurry up before the gate closes!" The gate closed with my kids on the other side and his response was "just push it!" The staff upon exiting didnt even verify our wrist bands to ensure I was leaving with my kids and not taking someone elses. I was shocked that there were no lockers to store belongings (the front desk did hold my purse for me). The laundry baskets in the ballistic ball area were cracked on the handles and sharp. On the upper deck of the ballistic ball area there was an exposed wire on one of the ball guns and broken flexi pipes. Over in the toddler area, there was an exposed metal edge where the foam had ripped away and was no longer ziptied. Under the toddler gym where the punching bags were hanging the foam floor was missing. I saw a bigger kid run in there and slip. Not 2 minutes later my daughter walked over there and fell and smacked the back of her head on the floor (note the picture is after I personally hunted down missing foam pieces and tried to make it safer). When I went to retrieve her I slipped and fell too. Overall the place was dirty and not kept up. Didnt see an option to contact anyone in person. Really hoping the manager can see and address these safety issues before someone gets...
