To start, we went to the restaurant yesterday and a few moments after arriving the fire alarm when off. It was painful because I have sensitive ears and I actually have a medical exam I have to take that specifically told me to avoid loud noises. So we sat out side hoping it would shut off sooner than later before we got called for our table.

Once we were called for our table it was still going off and we approached the stand plugging our ears. We where not greeted. There was 3 girls standing there but where all talking to each other. We where debating on leaving but then they finally acknowledged us. We asked if we could sit in the sort of outdoor seating because the pitch of the alarm wasn’t as loud.

After being seated it took about 25 mins before a waiter came out to take our drink order after someone else came out to ask who our waiter was to which we replied with that we didn’t have one.

After we ordered our drinks the fire company arrived and eventually shut off the alarm then the ceiling fan outside started spinning out of control and everyone was afraid it was going to fly off and hit them. Eventually someone shut that off and we noticed it was missing a blade or two.

We ordered a blooming onion for an appetizer. It tasted weird and still had the skin on the outer edge and just simply wasn’t cooked right. We also didn’t receive the small plates to put it on or silverware but it wasn’t necessary at this point (yet)

We got a steak and ribs to share but they put them on the same plate and we had to ask for our silver ware (but no big deal because we asked for those small plates eventually and just slid the rack of ribs over to that) I was never asked how I wanted my steak cooked and because I wasn’t asked I forgot to mention it so partly my fault that my steak wasn’t to my liking.

The green beans had hair in it. The chili was cold. And I Hardly ate because the whole experience was just awful and it made me lose my appetite.

We where approached at one point during the meal by a “member of the management team” who happens to be one of the 3 girls ignoring us when we first arrived. She asked how our meal was and at first I said fine because I hate complaining. But it was the absolute worst dinner I have had so I told her the list of complaints (this was before I found the hair in the green beans) the only thing she offered was to get me a fresh hot chili that came out without the cheese which is no big deal but in the mean time I found the hair and again lost my appetite. I didn’t wanna compline more at risk of being a “Karen” but wow terrible from the moment we arrived.

They are in some serious need of quality control in...

This review is based solely on front of house service. The food is great. It’s a chain, you come here for consistency.

The hostess, wait staff and front of house management leave much to be desired. The wait times are irrational. They do not know how to estimate or turn over tables quickly. We were a party of 3. Not 6 or more, 3!

It started from when we walked in the door. The hostess stand can’t get their act together. We were quoted 20-30 minutes for our wait time. It was 50.

When we were finally getting seated, we were taken to our table with no bread (while plenty was on the line behind us), no silverware and no kids menu. Once seated, we requested bread from the waiter. Since we had a 50 minute wait, the child in the party was hungry. Still denied. Bread obviously on the line.

Asked the waiter for a menu for the child. Crickets. Had to go grab one from the hostess stand.

Placed order. Salad arrived. No silverware. Another trip to the hostess stand.

No silverware at the hostess stand. Asked for a manager.

Manager came to the table after about 10 minutes I’d say. Talked. Advised I had previously made 2 trips to the hostess stand to no avail. Manager agreed to bring silverware, bread and asked was asked to grab some fries for child to snack on. Silverware and rolls arrived rather quickly.

Manager came back with fries after the rest of the meal arrived.

Waiter was not attentive. Manager did not check back in, just a young manager in training circling to show face, not expedite.

Food was good. As expected.

Waited awhile for the check. Once the check was received, waiter did not return. We had to ask the young manager to retrieve the waiter to pay cash for the check. Once we gave cash and obviously asked for change, the waiter kept change and we had to track him down at the register after waiting roughly 5 to 10 minutes.

Complained once again to the manager on the way out. She admitted there was a disconnect and they dropped the ball on service today with us. She stated she should have checked back in.

I hate complaining about restaurants but this is just unacceptable. Get take out and save yourself the hassle. Food is great but the service...

So let me start by saying I never usually review restaurants at all , good or bad but my experience last night was unreal. I took my fiancé out to celebrate his 13 yrs of being sober. We sat down our waiter comes up after maybe 5 minutes or so and gives us this huge speal about drinks and app and deal all that jazz. Then leaves, BEFORE EVEN TAKING OUR DRINK ORDER?! So now we’re sitting there with rolls that we love but we’re waiting on our drinks . 10mins later he comes back and we say we’re ready to order. We ordered our drinks ,an appetizer and two steak dinners, a filet and a T-bone. All is good with our drinks and app. Then we get our dinners…. We ordered our steaks medium rare. His T bone was completely cooked no pink in site and mine was purple🙄 so we send both back ( and we NEVER send stuff back bc we feel so bad) but they were clearly not edible. He takes my steak back to be put on a little longer and tells us to just hold on to the over cooked one and take it home to the dogs. Ok cool . Brings my filet back, now medium rare. Gets his t bone ( waiter already walked away) and it’s purple. Never in my life have I been to a steakhouse and had to send THREE steaks back! Meanwhile in between all this mess we were never asked if we wanted more drinks until I asked for another after I finished my meal. I was totally cool with the waiter until the end when I’m sitting there waiting for him to come back for drinks. We were courteous the entire time never made a stink even after the third time sending the steak back. Anywhere else I’ve been would always have a manager come over to at least apologize and what not. NOT HERE! We were absolutely appalled by the whole dinner and it ruined the special day it was supposed to be. I walked out paying a $90 bill and still gave the waiter a $20 tip and even though we were never asked for drinks . So to say the least we will never be returning to...

This is a quality staple meal in the area, and I can always count on nice outing when I dine here. While no “downtown” high end steakhouse, this restaurant still cooks up high quality meats over the flames and delivers tasty homemade sides and very reasonable prices. My go to is the sirloin, but I’ve had good filet, and prime rib here as well. My fiancé loves their chicken tenders, and we both have no complaints about the various sides we’ve ordered (broccoli, fries, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, apple sauce, or Mac and cheese. They also have a great bar area where they mix up some tasty cocktails and margaritas- we’ve been known to opt for the extra tequila kicker a time or two for the margarita, or choose the spicy salt rim if that’s your thing. We can’t review TRH without also mentioning their peanuts and fresh rolls with every meal- you just can’t beat that. It brings back memories of going here as a kid and absolutely losing my mind when I got to purposely throw my peanut shells on the ground (don’t do that at home!). The rolls never stop coming, and they are also hot out of the over paired with cinnamon butter- also worth losing your mind over.

Coming on a weekday around 615 expect a long wait. They told us 25 to 30 minute wait but it ended up being closer to 45 minutes. Service was great as always, they do have really good steaks here but the problem is getting them to cook them correctly. The steak in the photo was ordered medium well and it was more like medium rare. The country fried chicken was basically the same flavor as a chicken finger. It was like a big flattened out chicken finger and the white cream gravy that came on the side had a very unique flavor unlike other gravy I've had. It had almost a cheesy flavor with a hint of smokiness. Texture was nice and creamy though. The best thing at this restaurant are the rattlesnake bites. They're absolutely delicious and addicting. They're one of the best appetizers I've ever had at any restaurant. Most of the food here is mediocre. The steaks are good and they have good flavor but they need to pay better attention on how they cook them.
