I normally don't post reviews but to save other people from the hassle, I have decided to do so. My advice would be if you plan on buying appliances-- go elsewhere. My husband and I went to Home Depot in the thruway plaza on November 26th 2018 (Cyber Monday) and bought a Samsung washer and dryer for a great deal. Our first sign that this was going to be a mistake was when the girl in the appliance department selling us the appliances didn't know what parts we needed for the dryer (she tried telling us we don't need a new vent which when I spoke to the department manager a few weeks later he said that is false and she should have known that) and she had no idea how to scan coupons for the Cyber Monday deal. About 2 weeks later, the washer and dryer were delivered BUT the girl ordered us a ELECTRIC dryer instead of the GAS dryer we requested. I ended up calling the location to complain and from that point forward only spoke with the department manager, Eddie (which was the only good experience of this whole ordeal- he was very professional). We were told they wouldn't be able to deliver until December 26th. That day, we never received a phone call to tell us they weren't coming (I called about 4PM and found out that way that the date was pushed back) and the new delivery date would be 1/4/19 and I told them we would be on vacation and we had to reschedule (1/11/19). I received a voicemail that morning that Samsung would be out delivering and would be delivering to us between 2PM-6PM that day and that a Samsung representative would call us a half hour ahead of time. I received a call about 1PM from Ryan (who was very short with me), he said "we will be there in a half hour with your appliances" and hung up before I could tell him that I wasn't going to be home until 1:45. When he got there and I wasn't there he called and was very nasty to me...when we got there he and another representative took our old appliances and hooked up the new washer with the valves screwed up so hot was coming out cold, cold was coming out hot. I just feel like if you are going to charge a good amount for delivery/set up/ and taking old appliances you should be PROFESSIONAL and know how to do your job in the first place. They also refused to hook up my dryer for some dumb reason and told me to call a handyman. That was it for me and I called Home Depot and threw a fit. Eddie (appliance manager) was at my house within a half hour to finish getting everything set up. I was only refunded about $27 for all of the hassle. Waiting 1.5 months for this was not worth it! Read moreI came into the the Home Depot on January 19, 2019. I had gotten paint a few days prior and when I put it on my walls it turned out purple instead of gray like I wanted.I knew that I couldn’t return it but I thought maybe someone could help me lighten the color. The people in the paint department two females,Were extremely rude to me and acted threatened by me they obviously did not want to help but in that moment I needed a serious opinion about what to do about my color. As I thought that was their job.But instead nothing but attitude and rolling of the eyes. I was able to get the paint lightened and headed to the flooring department. I am six months pregnant and asked for help with picking up some peel and stick vinyl flooring. No one helped me and I had to move About 15 rolls of at least 20 pound vinyl flooring all by myself to get to the one that I wanted. It was a very dangerous task for me. But no one seem to care. I headed on over to the front to cash out. A woman named Deborah was extremely rude to me and kept rolling her eyes. I was trying to explain how I had already had the paint when I came in and that a young man at the front told me to see him before I cashed out because he knew that I had the paint.Unfortunately the man had already left by the time I cashed out. So I asked her what should I do and she didn’t respond she just rolled her eyes in anger. I asked her what her problem was and she decided to laugh in my face. I am a store manager and have dealt with customer service for over 10 years and have never been treated like such scum.I will never ever go back to the Home Depot after this experience I will bring my business to either value or Lowe’s, never at...
