The absolute worst! I am truly floored at how horrible my experience was. I had an appt at 11am today at ubreakifix near my house for my camera lens on my phone to get repaired. I got a confirmation text yesterday saying please call the number to confirm we have the part you need before your upcoming appt. So I called, they said they had it and I showed up to my appt. Then I get there and they say they donât have it and I have to go to the walden ave location 30 minutes awayâŚ. So I go. They take my phone for over 2 hours . I pick up my phone and head home. Then go to take a picture and thereâs black spots all over the place canât even take a photo. Thereâs visible dirt underneath the new replaced lenses. So I call the Walden location and Brian tells me to bring it back to redo it. Seeing as Iâve already spent hours of my day dealing with this I asked if they could rush it and he said they would get it done for me in one hour. I get in my car and drive 30 minutes to go drop it off AGAIN. Once I got there they then said âitâll take 3 hours we have more phones ahead of yoursâ. I did not have another 3 hours to remain without my phone and kill time . As someone that had an appt scheduled at 11am I am sitting here several hours later with still a broken camera and $125 down the drain. I am disgusted and disappointed. I would NEVER return here. Brian should be fired . He was not friendly and had the worst customer service and social skills Iâve ever witnessed. When I originally showed up to get my phone he was helping another customer and didnât acknowledge my presence while I stood there for 15 full minutes. I will an attach a photo of my âfixedâ camera against my plain white wall. Thank you for wasting my entire day off to still have a broken camera and now a bad attitude to go with it! I called and filed a complaint. I hope this...
Read moreI went to have the Touch ID Haptic Feedback repaired on an iPhone 7, which stopped working after having a new battery installed. I knew that this was the problem with the phone.
When doing a quick diagnostic, they told me I'd need a new home button. However, I asked to keep the Apple original home button, as I've had negative experiences with third-party ones.
Pang was amazingly kind and understanding. I have no issue at all with the customer service at all, and would go back just for the warmth and accommodation Pang showed. However...
I get called back after about an hour and a half. Someone from the back comes out and tells me that the issue with my Touch ID was exactly what I'd anticipated -- when the new battery was replaced, one of the ribbon connectors wasn't properly fastened. I say that's excellent!
Then I'm informed that my screen was broken in the process and would have to pay $50 for the cost of the new screen. So to me, this shows that since the actually issue was just a simple fix, they had to get more out of me.
I would've paid for the cost of labor and the convenience of them fixing it, however, they "accidentally" breaking my screen and repairing it, and then making me pay. It seemed like a scheme, which felt dishonest to me.
The person who "repaired" also said -- "So it turned out to be pretty convenient that the screen broke, huh?" Implying that they found out about the loose Home button connector because of the broken screen.
To finalize, I've had problems with the screen since. The screen sensitivity is very inconsistent, with no way of fixing. Either too responsive or not at all at parts.
I'm very disappointed with my experience. I'm sure others have had great ones, which is awesome! This is just to heed a warning to those that may have an idea what's wrong with their device -- assuming it's not...
Read moreWow, Impressive level of missteps creates just a poor customer service environment. Dropped off an iPhone last week for repair, no big deal, got a call saying it was done a couple of days later, wasn't able to pick it up that day. Went to the store on Monday 8/19 around 12:15pm as the opening hours on their website shows 10am-7pm M-F. Get there and the door is locked , there is a handwritten sign on the door saying "due to staffing issues our hours are M-F 12pm - 5pm". OK fine, I mean maybe update your website but it's 12:15pm on a Monday and you're still not open, maybe your employee is running late...I'll stop back about 12:45pm. I get there close to 1pm and the door is still locked and it's now almost 1pm. I call the number on the front door and it's a non-working number ??? The website has a different number, when you call it it tells you "we're closed'....that's it, no option to leave a message just we're closed.
So I wait until Tuesday, go back at 12:30pm and they're open, except I wait in line about 30 minutes. The guy in front of me is told his iPad was fixed and to come pick it up, then gets there and is told the part didn't arrive..so why did you call him and tell him it's fixed ???
I get to pick up the phone, I ask them if they were closed on Monday and he said yes, I asked why the sign written in sharpie said they were open and he couldn't answer. Then he hands me a non-charged, dead phone so I can't test it to see if it works, he also says to call the number on the receipt if it doesn't work !!! I tell him that the number on the door is the wrong number and he says "ugh yeah, we keep telling corporate", dude don't wait...just take down the number from the door.
I only rated them two stars because they did fix the phone, but the rest of the experience is like watching clowns at...
