I had priced out Koi pond supplies at a large box store, thinking it would be a ton cheaper. First, it was almost the same price; only slightly more expensive at The Pond and Rock Shop. Second, The employees at the shop are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable I am incredibly lucky I chose them over the box store. The slightly higher price is completely worth it as The Pond Shop continues to be a great resource that I can always go back to for advice and hand holding when I need help! Good customer service. Part of my pond pump assembly was broken. They identified the check valve I needed and it was delivered to my home in 2 days. When I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't fit, they patiently explained that I needed to remove another existing fitting in the well. It works like new now. I want to believe that the cost of the part and the information I received...
