Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Town of Cicero

I Wish i could give zero stars. Here is my experience at this location: it took ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge my friend and i were waiting at the podium to be seated then we were told to just sit where ever we wanted. We ordered 50.00 worth of food and when it came out my pizza had almost no sauce on it and neither did my wings. While we were eating the employees started screaming at each other over a cigarette break while a woman waited up front for someone to notice her so she could get her carryout order about 10 minutes later they finally took care of her. A few minutes later the woman working the register asked if i wanted more soda and took my cup to fill it. I watched as she set it down next to the register cashed another carryout order out then picked my cupback up again to fill it. She made a comment that it was just her and two bosses there to that customer as well. Then i see one of the guys from the back go to use the bathroom wearing jeans and a hoodie. So i decided it was time to leave. Call me crazy but a long sleeve shirt while making pizza by an oven doesnt seem sanitary. But with the flys buzzing around the salad bar i guess cleanlyness isnt a priority here. So i asked for some boxes my friend and i each only had 3 slices of the pizzas we ordered gone and wanted to take the rest home, she came back with a few boxes that would bearly hold breadsticks in them and said thats all we were allowed to have.... I cant take my pizza home in a pizza box at pizza hut apparently. She hands me my bill and its for the only other table that has people at it and not even close to the same order. I mention this to her and she says "oh yeah" then runs my credit card. As my friend and i are getting into my car she opens the door of the restaurant and sarcastically yells thank you at us, i would assume she looked at the reciept and realized i gave her no tip. Pizza Hut is not my most preferred place for ordering out for pizza, but this location is extremely accommodating. This set up could also work while vacationing. As far as Pizzerias, which I also prefer to dining in, there are a few places I go to for pizza. That would be Original Italian Pizza, Utica Pizza Co & Dominos. I have shopped around for specialty pizzas, but this Pizza Hut offers more variety and options than anywhere I've visited locally. My impression of this location is a Takeout Diner similar to the Utica Pizza Co, although the Utica Pizza Co is a more traditional Italian menu. Many people have already expirenced the Pizza Hut menu, but the difference of this location is the access for takeout or delivery. I've been to their traditionally recognized restaurants, and they are fine if you want to dine, or take advantage of the all you can eat pizza & salad bar. I am more interested in getting my order at a location where access is not a problem, and Pizza Hut may have found a way to offer both options to there patronage. You'll also won't have to shop around for pizza & wing deals, because they meet the expectations of most of their competitors deals. I would say they fall short of offering a higher variety on chicken wings, so I'm still shopping around for that, but why go to Pizza Hut for...

Editing the star rating since it seems the location has improved recently. Tried them again a few times and haven't really had issues.

I have given this location multiple tries and there are issues Every. Single. Time. Anything from taking too long with orders, to the orders being incorrect, to my most recent experience of placing an order online and then having them tell me they can’t fulfill my order for one reason or another and not telling me until I arrived. Keep in mind the website let me place the order and I never received a notice that they could not make the food I wanted. When I arrived they didn’t even offer me a substitute or different option to make it up to me. Basically just said that they couldn’t make the order I wanted and that there was nothing they could do. Honestly I really like Pizza Hut food but this location is absolute trash. Whoever the franchise owner is it is obvious that they do not care or are completely incompetent.
