I ordered flowers on September 7th to be delivered September 9th. I called at 10AM to confirm delivery. I was told it was on the way. I called at 3 pm because it was not delivered. I was told it would delivered by 5pm. I called a little after 6pm. I was told scheduled to be delivered didn't know when. I canceled. This was a birthday present for a 90 year old woman and I told them that 5pm the latest because that's when her aid leaves and she could not get up and make it to door by herself. Horrible service. They should have told me that they couldn't deliver and I would have gotten somebody else. I was having dinner on 9/10 and my 90 year old called hysterically because she was being terrorized by a worker from this florist who came to pick up the flowers they delivered anyway after I had canceled on September 9th because as of 6 pm they had not delivered. The neighbor who is also an elderly man had to come out to help my mother in law. What kind of horrible human being owns this store. This is a 55+ community. People here are 70+ years old. Obviously when I was calling the florist, since 10 AM on the day of scheduled delivery; the person answering the phone was just humoring me and not calling the delivery person. She would not have delivered the flowers that I canceled. And really you screw up and then go back to pick up flowers that you cannot do anything with. If you wanted flowers so bad you could have contacted me. But no. It wasn't about getting the flowers back. It was about terrorizing a 90th year old woman in order to get your revenge. If this had caused her to have a heart attack you would have a lot more to worry about than some freaking flowers You are a horrible human being. Read moreThis has been the worst experience of my life with this florist! A funeral arrangement was delivered to my home, and the very next day the flowers were dead. I called the florist and they apologized and told me they were sending me right out a new arrangement as I wanted to take them to the funeral parlor the next day. They never sent out a new arrangement nor did they call me. When I called to say that I did not receive a new arrangement the person who answered the phone told me she was very aware of my car just satisfaction, and I would have to speak to a supervisor. I then was given over to Jefferson, who was rude and told me he had no one to bring the flowers out to me. When I explained to him that I needed to take them to the funeral parlor with me today, he told me that he did not have anyone and he was not bringing them. He was not apologetic and told me that he was not apologizing because I was upset and it wouldn’t help anyway, I will never use this florist nor will I encourage any of my family or friends to use them as they are not customer service friendly, nor do they care about their customers. User beware of this florist once they have your money your on your own.
Update… the owner responded yet here I am two days later and still no flowers so I cannot believe this response was genuine. Today I will bury my loved one and the flowers that were sent to our family are just another upset. They never were able to be brought to the services as it would have been very embarrassing...
Read moreI ordered a basket of flowers direct from New City Florist that cost $73.67. The woman that helped me on the phone said it was a great choice and one of her favorite arrangements. What she failed to tell me was they were out of the basket, out of some of the flowers pictured and didn't ask me if I would accept a substitution. The arrangement delivered wasn't what I picked. When I called to complain, the person was sort of rude, offered a 10% discount off the price and then finally credited me $31.43 which I agreed to, but bottom line, I'm paying $42.24 for flowers I didn't choose. They did offer to pick it up and replace it but that would have been awkward, this was sent to someone to cheer them and should have been done right from the start. So disappointed. Pictures attached of what I ordered and what was actually sent. Edited update in response to the owners reply, actually your florist didn't do exactly what I asked you to do or I would have got what I ordered in the first place. What is the point of having a website with choices of flower arrangements if you're not going to honor what someone orders and just send what you want.
