Having bought myself an outdoor pizza maker and after a lifetime of tasting pizza all over New York City, Rockland County and the Jersey shore, I understand that there are many variables that impact how a pizza tastes. The flour, water content and humidity, the sauce and cheese quality not to mention the ovens and the quality. I like toppings of meats and extra cheese as much as the next guy, but to me, the purest bite is the plain slice. I had one just the other day at 11 am. It was brought to the table hot and I burned the roof of my mouth just a bit- a sign of a good smelling slice you just can't wait to eat. The cheese with hints of olive oil, oregano, basil reached my mouth and taste buds simultaneously while my teeth bit through a firmly crisped dough. This was cooked perfectly leaving the pizza with a great chew that blended with the cheese and filled my mouth with that satisfying flavor and texture. A bottle of cold Root Beer cooled my mouth down. I've also had meatball heroes and veal parm heroes here and they are both well done and satisfying. They also have an ice cream area where you can mix and match flavors with toppings and while I've been very tempted, I have yet to give in to temptation. If the pizza and heroes are any indication of the quality of the rest of the menu, you cant go wrong picking anything on the menu. As the Terminator says,...
Read moreOverall this is some of the best pizza in or near new city. Only other place for us would be pearl river and not always convenient to drive there. Sauce is actually seasoned! And taste like something vs just eating lain tomato sauce. Service is always always the best! Seriously they’re so accommodating and nice. Here’s the ONLY negative and it’s recently that I’ve noticed this change. Before they used to have a medium and large pie. Now their medium pie is sold as their “large” pie and their large pie as their “extra large” pie. So technically I’m paying more for a medium pie and nothing about the size or number of slices has changed. Wish they would just go back to how it was and make an actual...

It has a unique flavor, the slices are a decent size, the crust is tasty and they put lots of cheese and sauce on the regular slices, which is the difference maker in my opinion. A crispy thin crust balanced with toppings.
That being said, they are / have become somewhat expensive and sometimes the pizza is a little more well-done than you might like; I personally like a crispy crust but I’ve taken other people here who thought it was a bit burnt. Tell them how you want it and you won’t be disappointed
There’s plenty of tables, TVs, drinks and ice...
