CUSTOMER FOR 31 YEARS BEING DISMISSED BY YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE My family and I have been loyal customers of Deciccos for 31 years and your lack of customer service and lack of concern for selling food turned moldly within hours of purchasing it will jeopardize our continuing to shop at your store. Friday night, May 9, my wife bought groceries, incl. store branded ravioli that turned moldy the next morning. We live 2 miles away, which takes 5 minutes. The next morning, my wife went back with her credit card receipt on her iphone but the store associate refused to remedy the problem and has alienated a long term customer. My son wrote a review and the store’s response was “…we can not control temperature once you leave the store. As our courteous associate explained to you, your return was outside that window and not kept in the correct temperature.” Instead of fixing the problem of a long term loyal customer, the store made up an excuse. The best and freshest produce department in the world. The deli counter is awesome. Store made turkey breast, chicken breast and roast beef are better than mama Berger’s homemade food. Mike the ultimate deli master. Mike knows every single kind of meat and cheese. His homemade eggplant with secret ingredients should be in the sandwich hall of fame. Mike knows what ingredients to make any entree better.. The bakery is great. The cakes, pies and cookies are the best in the county. They use rich cream and deep rich chocolate. Their fresh fish seems like it came right out of the ocean. The hot bar is the best bar none! Lasagna, meatballs, sausage and peppers, beef stew, lamb stew, shrimp scampi and many more excellent meals. I go shopping at Decicco’s Once a week . I do not live in new city. I had a truly pleasant experience at this store today. The young man at the register with curly hair was exceptionally kind and attentive. I stopped in this evening to pick up a few groceries, and throughout the entire interaction, he remained courteous and professional. I was especially impressed that he took the time to place my items in the cart for me, something you don’t see too often these days. He deserves recognition for his excellent service. The rest of the staff were equally polite and helpful, and it’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here.
