I used to love coming to blu fig, it was my go to place to eat. I came here this week and was frustrated and left feeling like it was no longer the place I remember it to be.

Within the last year I’ve had to eat gluten free. I’ve eaten at many places and none were as unknowledgeable as my server at Blu Fig. I asked what on the menu could be eaten gluten free and if they had any gluten free substitutes and the waitress just responded “oh I don’t know” she didn’t offer to ask the kitchen or more knowledgeable wait staff. She spent most of her time talking to the table next to us and barley checked on us or was around to even ask for a drink refill.

Granted our server was a teen, but still, the staff should train her better or at least teach her how to handle food sensitivities or allergies.

I was very disappointed because I had no clue what I could eat. I didn’t enjoy my experience ...

Owners are so greedy. They don't care about their customers. They only care about money. They serve the driest penne vodka I've ever had and then they want to charge you $4 for extra sauce that should've been on it in the first place. The cost for pasta is so incredibly low, despite the current inflation. Also, the chairs could really use some felt pads to provide grip. My daughter fell back & hit her head once since it was so slippery. Servers are not all nice either, but that doesn't seem to be of any concern by the owners. They also own Burger Loft & the seats there are all torn & the tables and floors are always filthy. The entry door is glass and it has huge cracks. It really shows how much they care about their appearance, much less their customers. It's such a shame how the owners operate these businesses that otherwise could've been...

Very odd that I was told to pick up a menu and pick a seat. So my boss and I took a seat and waited a while for staff to ask for our order ...we were the only ones there. We then were told to return to the front of the restaurant to place and pay for the order. This was kind of weird because apps and meal had to be ordered all together. I asked for a ginger ale and it was given a paper cup with a lid, like a fast food place. My boss asked for water and was directed to fill up a glass from a large jug sitting by the door. The staff were unfriendly and I felt like I was in a fast food restaurant. I've ate there before and have been waited on. Today's experience has shown the decline in a...

We’ve eaten before here plenty of times and are always very pleased… However ordering out was different. The sliced strawberries added up to maybe two whole strawberries and not very large ones either and the cheese was equivalent to maybe one large tablespoon at best. In a separate container (not shown) is the chicken fortunately I asked for extra chicken. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Had I noticed when I was there I would’ve definitely had them rectify it. I’d hate to believe that because they are part of the good restaurants in the area that they have just gotten comfortable.

A nice, casual sit down and dine restaurant in New City. The ambience is really nice, and the outdoor seating is spacious. The night lighting is also quite beautiful. The food is decent. Some of it can be bland, like the shrimp scampi pasta, but for the price everything there is decent. The staff are also attentive with water refills and the service is fast. Would recommend for a nice dinner if you're in New City!

1st experience here and I liked the small plates. I was looking for something different decided to go elsewhere for dinner. But the appetizers, ice tea, and water was good. They did not have the blood orange tea though. The cherry BBQ sauce wings were decent as were the steamers. Pricing was alright. The outdoor seating was nicer with some lights.
