Rak's Department Store — Local services in Town of Clayton

Buyer Beware. When a store has a "no return, ever" policy either their merchandise is really good.... or they know that it's really bad and don't want to deal with the return of broken items! We spent nearly $100 shopping for t-shirts, souvenirs, jewelry and toys, and it was a complete waste of money. Older woman cashier very rude to my 4 year old with special needs. If you don’t want kids to touch the toys in your store maybe don’t put open “moon balls” at a 4 year olds eye level. And if you do say something to a customer, maybe understand that not all 4 year olds are the same and maybe the mom is trying her hardest to just enjoy a day with her kids on vacation and be a little kinder next time. I stopped into Raks this past Sunday with my husband and small dog. I was pleasantly surprised that they were pet friendly and very thankful for that as my little guy couldn't be left alone in our hotel. I ended up purchasing a couple of items. Prices were reasonable and customer service was excellent. The girls working were very sweet. This is definitely my favorite store in Clayton!! I highly recommend! Can't wait to go...
