Clifton Park Rest Area — Local services in Town of Clifton Park

Good cellular signal, and the grass is neatly cut. I was able to do some calisthenics and wake up a bit here, while the driver got some work calls and emails done. It's small and rather plain, but in the distance, the view still beats home. The access and egress roads feel safe and well-planned -- no abrupt turns or speed changes required. The bathroom was clean enough. A bare-bones rest stop -- smallish, not a ton of parking, and definitely not great for huge trucks with long loads. I really loved this rest area! I'm from New Hampshire and our rest areas only have bathrooms and a little bit of information. This one had so much more! The bathrooms were really clean considering. There was so much available for food and drink that the people I was traveling with sat down and had a meal. It was a great place to take a break and refresh ourselves for the long journey. There were plenty of people working there that we felt safe. I was even able to pick up cough drops and Tylenol. There was handicap parking and the parking lot was well...

I don't know why one of the reviews stated that they didn't have any concessions stands. If he means vending machines they did. It's a rest stop so not all of them have restaurants. This one was very clean, plenty of bathrooms and it's a typical rest area. It has vending machines with a lot of different drink items and snack items.
