My room was super spacious which I appreciated. I enjoyed the simple decor and cleanliness of my room. The bed was neatly made with numerous pillows and the bathroom was clean and had adequate clean towels. This room had ac/ heater, a microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and clothes dry rack. I did notice that there were stains on the couch that appeared to be blood and other stuff. But, I just isolated that couch and didn't use it. This hotel has elevators which I liked. It also provides breakfast with a lot of different food options like sausage, eggs, cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, and waffles. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I only wished that they did a more thorough job cleaning the rooms, have filtered water station, and possibly increase the shower water pressure. Overall this hotel is affordable and a good place to stay. I would recommend this place and definitely stay again!

While the hotel was overall great, it could improve with better cleaning, a filtered water station, and stronger shower pressure. I'd recommend it as an affordable, pleasant place to stay.swimming pool is also there .

Stayed here for s 12 days. This is the first hotel I ever stay in USA, so nothing to compare. However, room was clean, modern and cozy. Wifi was strong, free parking, pool and gym. Still two options I do not really liked: 1. The same breakfast every morning. Maybe it is good if you are about to stay there for 1-3 days, but for 12.... I hated that eggs with sausages... 2. Very noisy Air Conditioning. I was able to hear it from other room every night and day.

Warning about this place!! We reported to the credit card co. And we won and got our refund....management lied in the response thisfront staff are not very friendly & hospitable when we checked in..They could barely smile and look at u fr the computer..They put our rm near the elevators above the lobby 2nd floor..noisy..We found loose pills on the carpet, left over dog toys from the previous guest. The carpet wasn't vacuumed good. Soap scum on the shower door, hair in the shower. Glad that we brought clorox wipes.no xtra blankets in the drawer. Pool area is small, and the hot tub is full of chlorine..Pool area out of towels, coffee area not stocked..Rm was above the lobby, sliding door in lobby made a banging noise, when anyone went in and out of the lobby..stayed fri night Sat morn we left at 11 a.m. returned at 4pm. ate dinner in, napped, watched movies. dogs didnt bark..went to pool 8:30pm, spoke casually to sec before & after.we were there 30 min.. no towels @ pool. went to coffee area. We fixed our coffee/tea and the sec guard asked us what room we were in, & we told him. He said your dogs have been barking, and he took off..we grabbed our coffee and got on the elevator. we got off the elevator, the dogs were hysterically barking at the door."What was going on? for them to be acting like that?" Someone either entered our room, or messed w. the door? dogs very upset.. front desk agent Katrina and security running down the hallway, waving her arms, pointing finger in husb face, we tried to unlock the door & it would not unlock! We were LOCKED out of our room..Katrina said that everyone in this hallway was complaining about my dog barking. I said "Im sorry once I get in the room, the dog will calm down. he usually is not like this" She would not unlock door, we stood in the hallway in our wet bathing suits. I insisted that she unlock the door now! She said "we need to LEAVE the hotel NOW!" I said "What?" I just couldn't believe it..she was waving her pointed finger and being very abrupt and unprofessional. I said "Its 9pm, holiday wkend we have no place to go & we live 200 m. from here" She said "That's not my problem!" I asked for a refund for tonight and tomorrow night" and she said "Absolutely not & You will leave now!" I told her that it was illegal to keep the money. She said "Fine, I will call the police and they will make you leave!" I said, I will keep him quiet when I get in the room..Katrina said NO! locked us out of R rm..Kat refused to give us a refund when I asked for it. She was mean and nasty. Finally she unlocked the door. we went in the room, I was crying, and my husband & I started packing. We are in our 50's, and it was late. no hotels in the area available & we had to drive home 200 m. late at night, rural NY/VT Fog/Moose.. Kat. was rude, and very unprofessional. They put people without pets next to people with pets. A tour bus group was in house..Not a good idea to put them next to people w. dogs...Kids running up and down the hallway. We are very upset. ruined our holiday wkend. We have stayed at laquinta w. pets all over the eastern seaboard even tx..Never had any problems like this ever! This hotel is fairly new. NOT recommended them, they cant be trusted. Entering rms' without permission. GM accused us of abandoning our dogs! They don't have a designated pet floor/section. GM:You have been mislead as to what exactly happened. Job security I guess..Staff was surprised to find out we were in the hotel the whole time! U R going by what your staff told u! dogs were NOT barking constantly because we were in the room! when we went to the pool at 8"30 they did bark Due to NOISE..Thin Walls. Noisy room w. banging sounds..we were reachable by phone. I only saw one missed call on my phone while we were at the pool for 30 min.security spoke to us 3x while we were down stairs & he never said a word! Your staff behavior was unacceptable & unprofessional. Nasty emails from GM...I did get a full refund once I contacted Corp! Only if I just got that in the beginning! Good luck GM..Go back...

I was in the area for business and brought my family along to enjoy the pool and spa. Pool was ok but did have a mildew smell while in the water. Our biggest issue was with check in. I reserved the room through a 3rd party and it was my understanding payment would not be due until the last day of our stay. I called beforehand to confirm then upon check in he tried to run the authorization on my card and I explained the money would he in Thursday as I'm here for work is that an issue, he just shook his head no processed the check in and handed us our keys. I then went to work that evening came back around 5am and went to bed. I was awaken by a phone call from the front desk that if I didn't have a card to process the authorization we would need to check out immediately. I explained to her what was said by her employee upon check in and she didn't care. If it were just me I would've told her fine and taken my money elsewhere, but with my wife and 3 year old there I didn't want to make them pack up and leave. I gave her a credit card to process the authorization on to which I was unaware of at the time she wrote down as their system was down. Later that evening I went to work on another project and got 4 different calls from the front desk stating the card was being declined. I said yes because you are processing the wrong amount, which I knew for a fact since I was getting the text messages from my card company. The GM even tried to run the card for the right amount and still had trouble, why? Because she couldn't read the card number because she wasn't the one who wrote the information down. So that's 3 people who had access to my account information. Even the morning of check out I was charged again when I wasn't supposed to be! The staff including the GM clearly are in way over their heads. It's my understanding the GM is the owner? If that's the case don't walk RUN from this place as they are truly incompetent and it clearly comes from the top! I reached out the GM and have yet to...

This is one of the "new generation" La Quinta Inns that started being built a few years ago. Those that are older are not as consistently good, so you may want to check the opening date of the specific hotel before booking. We stayed at one in Garden City, LI that wasn't as good.

We have had a couple of staycations here, and what impresses me most is how they match the Courtyard/Hilton Garden/Hampton Inn/Hyatt Place grade of lodgings while costing 15–20% less. I haven't done a price point comparison for a while so maybe the others have become more competitive when they have had to compete with La Quinta, but either way LQ is doing good!

Like most of the newer hotels, this one has a workout room, pool, hot tub, art deco lobby, free coffee all day, and free breakfast in the morning. All the rooms have microwaves and fridges. The rooms themselves are comfortable and the premises are kept clean. They allow pets and there is a dog walking trail. Service was very good.

UPDATE: After the management's response, and upon further consideration on my part, I am increasing my rating to a 5. My thinking had been that a hotel would have to be "fancier" to be considered a 5, but I give delicatessens 5 ratings because they are great delis. Likewise I would do the same for burger joints, fried chicken places, etc. if they did what they sought to do at the highest quality level. Why should lodgings be any different?

So in the last few days I have upgraded one rating from a 2 to a 3, and now another from a 4 to a 5. Gosh golly, could I be any more deliberative and...
