Hannoush Jewelers — Local services in Town of Clifton Park

I left Hannoush in Clifton Park today in tears. You see, I've tried for a few years to have a simple chain and crucifix repaired and have met dead end after dead end. It's an item for certain that has more sentimental significance than any financial worth. In other words, its not a high end piece of jewelry. In fact, it merely needed the clasp fixed and the crucifix reattached. Nothing major and none of the chain itself needed any work. However, time and again, I walked out with pieces instead of my necklace.

On a whim at the end of July, I called and spoke with a lady named Ella. SUPER friendly and said that while they didn't work on stainless steel, I was welcome to stop in and see what they might be able to do. That sure beat the normal "we don't work on stainless steel, good luck" I got when visiting most places. I stopped in today, the 2nd of August. A gentleman named Elias, was as helpful as ever. An absolute dear to deal with. He took the items and looked in the back. When he returned, he asked if I was able to leave it and he would see what could be done. He explained being they don't work on stainless, they didn't really have anything there to work with, but he would try. At this point if you are up to accepting the challenge, I'd practically ship this let alone leave it.

Imagine my shock when not even 4 hours later I received a call it was ready. I was then even more blown away when I asked about the cost. His reply? Nothing!

While I know most places aren't in business to work for free, after suffering a housefire in February of 2022, and having little left, this was an absolute blessing!

I've never felt more welcomed as a stranger than I did today. If Elias and Ella are any indication of the rest of the staff at Hannoush, there simply aren't words to express how they made a simple guy feel today.

My husband recently gave me a bracelet from Hannoush Jewelers for our anniversary. Years ago, he would attempt to get me something and I would wear it but not love the design. Eventually, it would reside in my jewelry box…hoping to be borrowed by a daughter lol! It took several years of me saying “no jewelry” before he admitted that he didn’t know what to look for and that shopping for jewelry was intimidating for him. He found the staff of most jewelry stores to be pushy and arrogant. Then he came to Hannoush with me to have my watch repaired. The staff was kind. They were helpful. They didn’t push and when he asked a couple of questions…they were eager to help educate him. He was so pleased with the experience that we returned to look at a new watch the next week. The staff addressed him by name and he immediately felt like family! That’s the thing…they get to know you. Your taste in jewelry. The styles you like. We had a great experience with the staff at Hannoush Jewelers. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and at no point did I feel pressured to buy any particular piece of jewelry or price range. I originally stopped to look at buying my wife an anniversary ring for our 35th wedding anniversary. I was helped initially by a nice young woman named Ella I believe and also by Donna. Turns out in conversation that Donna was working with Hannoush Jewelers back when I bought my wife her engagement ring at Hannoush. I was so comfortable with everything that I left the store that afternoon having just purchased a beautiful diamond anniversary ring. My wife was totally surprised so it made it all worthwhile. When we went to get the new ring sized, Donna was there and she and another nice gentleman helped us and also did a quick repair and cleaning of my wife’s engagement ring. Donna helped us pick out a new gold wedding band for me since I lost my original one 10 years ago when I was sick with cancer and the ring unknowingly slipped off my finger. We were definitely happy with everything and everyone we dealt with at Hannoush. We would highly recommend them.
