We are a repeat customer and was very delighted with our previous purchase. This time around , a nightmare. We purchased a Whirlpool top load washer. When the jeans are through, they are wringing wet. Have to run them through the dryer, 2 or 3 times. We called Feiden's service and the repairman came out and watched the washer go through it's thing and when it was finished, he agreed that the clothes were too wet. Called Feiden's and went into the store to complain about the machine and was told every time that they would forward our concerns ant someone would be in touch with us. NO CALLS!! After several trips to the Clifton Park store, I was told that the repair man ordered a new pump for our machine (that's was news to us). Then we talked to Mary and she said that she would send out her senior repairman. We told her that our greatest concern was that NO ONE HAD THE COMMON CURTESY TO RETURN OUR CALLS. The senior repairman said that the machine was running fine and that was how all the new machines were running now. If you can't make it right, refund my money and I will purchase from someone more reliable. We even told that we could do a Product Exchange, but that never came about. We were even going to upgrade to a front loader and pay the difference, but like I said, it never came to fruition. Would never recommend this store to anyone and we will certainly shop elsewhere in the future. And by the way, if this is how Whirlpool and Maytag are now operating, beware. My next letter is to Whirlpool/Maytag. UPDATE: Received a call from Mary this A.M. Went to the store and worked out a deal that would settle this. New machine will be delivered and set-up on Thursday. Will let you know how the new machine works out. I will say that this was the only phone call that I have received...

They claim the opening was too small; however, it was larger than minimum manufacturers requirements. It was too small for them because they were installing it wrong.. Got it jammed in opening because they did not remove a side clip and they installed insulation upside down. Scratched the door, knocked the counter off the cabinetry, scraped up cabinet. Hired private contractor to fix counter and reinstall dishwasher; he had no problems and unit fit fine. Feiden had to replace door that they damaged. After doing so the door would not stay closed; could not run dishwasher because it kept popping open. Feiden hired private contractor; he noticed that previous tech had chipped door, but he got the unit installed with no problems; fit fine. Feiden had to replace door for 2nd time. After doing so, the first time I opened the door it went crashing to the floor, tore the screws out of the metal kick plate that in turn chipped the door again when flying out from under dishwasher. Feiden refused to fix it and offered full refund still claiming that opening was too small after 2 different private contracts had installed with no issue. He told me to buy a new one and let him know when I had and he would pick up the old one. I purchased new dishwasher and informed him and he told me he had changed his mind and he was now going to fix it. I would not purchase anything from this company if my life depended on it; the owner who makes all the big decisions cannot be trusted to be truthful; when you cannot trust the owner and he is not a man of his word; you cannot trust the business! We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in September of 2019 and we noticed after about 1 month that it was defective - the drawers and inside compartments were breaking, the whole refrigerator would intermittently shut off and we would have to take it out of the wall and restart it, the back wall would freeze up and we would have to throw out our food, the fridge leaked and would leave a pool of water on our kitchen floor, among other issues.
At first, we were told that the fridge would have to be serviced 3 times in order to be replaced by the manufacturer. It has been serviced more than 3 times, not to mention the many times I have called or emailed about new issues. It has still not been replaced.
All in all, they sold us a defective item and it should have been replaced immediately. THAT is what customer service and customer retention is all about. Instead, they are trying to save themselves the money by not replacing it.
My family has been a loyal customer to Earl B Feiden over the last 20 years, and they have certainly lost our business. I would absolutely not recommend anyone doing business with them (also this is very difficult for me to post this because I never leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to do so due to what they put my family through with our defective...
