I’ve waited on a few years to write this review.

About 4 years ago my uncle was passing away. Someone in the family requested a scapular- specifically a green one or one that had the Blessed Mother on it for him. Something for him to see when he would go in and out of awareness.

I offered to go get one. I was exhausted, emotionally and physically. I just wanted to buy it and leave. There were two middle aged women working the store when I walked in.

I asked for a scapular, and I guess in my state of exhaustion I pronounced it incorrectly. These two women took the next 5 minutes to mock me (“this is what’s wrong with this generation” and “they don’t even know what they are looking for” kind of talk) while I was rung up.

I was buying it for my dying uncle- and I didn’t know where else to go- I didn’t have time to try and find somewhere else to buy it from on such short notice.

Increased price of shipping AFTER sending order confirmation. They did call to confirm if that was alright, but alternative was cancelling the order. Not particularly ethical for a business that sells products to churches.

Note, if rating seems harsh, it was the choice of the vendor. I told them had rated them as a 5 based on their shipping rates, and I explained I was going to have to change their rating based on their retroactive increase in shipping. Apparently their reputation was not worth standing by the previously...

Wow, worst customer service I have seen in years. The staff never came from behind the counter to assist and were very rude. It was almost as if we were bothering them. I doubt they will remain in business as the years move forward with this type of non service. Too bad as I know they have been in business for four...
