My friend and I decided to take a mini road trip over to Ny from MA for the day and do a little shopping. We decided to go to this Red Robin for lunch. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who seated us in a room that was delightfully decorated and had a Yummi neon sign on the wall. Eclectic and interesting atmosphere for a restaurant interior. The overall color scheme is pops and swaths of red, burgers, Americana, and pop art of robins and burgers. Overall very pleasant. Our waitress was very pleasant and cordially welcomes us and explained the menu and asked if we’d like to order drinks... we ordered some pop colored inspired flavored lemonades and waters. They have a pretty extensive menu we decided on the tower of onion rings as an appetizer. It did not disappoint it was pretty great. Stacked like a tower with ranch and a western flavored dipping sauce. Our drinks were delicious and very flavorful indeed. I ordered a double pigout burger with two kinds of bacon and two cheeseburger patties with never ending zucchini fries and had the burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. My friend decide to live a little and ordered the turkey burger with zucchini fries and also got hers wrapped in lettuce. We each added a side dish of mayo to dip our zucchini fries in.... everything was delicious. We both enjoyed our lettuce wrapped burgers great to see another option besides rolls. We both went all in on refills of our never ending zucchini fries... the second batches cane sprinkled with melted cheese on them and were also amazing!!!!! We enjoyed our lunch and also enjoyed our whole experience and will return again to have another meal here. As we were wrapping up a very pleasant woman came over and introduced herself as the manager and asked if we had a good meal and if there was anything she could do in addition for us?? We told her everything was perfect..... and we would definitely be back again for...
Read moreClean and organized, great food but the only reason I give it 3 stars is because 1. I've always had issues with my order 90% of the time , they have 1 burger that comes in 2 different options . I order the bigger burger and always end up getting the smaller one never fails . 2. There burgers have gotten smaller the burger I speak of is always the same burger I order everytime I go there and over time my regular burger (double patty) has gotten smaller but yet still costing the same not to mention is alway wrong the 1st time so now I have to wait for them to make the right burger . 3. Wait times for drinks and say fries as way as placing the order can be upwards of 30 + minutes we have waited little over an hour for our food sometimes at this point we just want to eat and get out , enjoy the food and Conversating is long gone after waiting for drinks maybe some fries and placing our than actually getting our order were already and hour and half into just being here . A little Excessive especially when you have children with you . Case in point I took my family here last week arrived @9pm was seated quickly the guy puts in a closed area waited almost 30 minutes to found out that the waitress in the next area was just made aware that we were her table 45 minutes later we order drinks and foods and asked for Multiple baskets of fries for the kids and we get 2 baskets of fries with maybe 15 fries it kids had those gone in a short time. It's now about 1015 food arrives my order is not correct and Luke warm not hot and old bacon on it , We just eat and left . This place use to be GREAT hot food and quick service great experience but now it seems its slowed down and and falling by the wayside which is very disappointing its has gotten to the point that I might just stop coming completely and Patronize another restaurant completely...
Read moreCalled this location after being told by another location that they were not accepting takeout orders at this time. When I called this location, which I would’ve had to drive even further to but did not mind doing, I was now speaking directly to an automated voice. After this automated voice took my order- which is a lengthy enough process in itself- it told me that it was having trouble connecting to the restaurant so they forwarded me directly to the restaurant to speak to a person.
I was then told once again that this location was also not accepting takeout orders. As a generally constructive criticism (to the company itself and not just this location), I implore Red Robin to consider modifying this practice. I have to imagine you lose less business telling inquiring customers that they might have to wait for a longer period of time due to understaffing, than to just say you’re not accepting orders overall. I can’t personally think of a restaurant, be it chain or local, that has ever just straight up said they’re not taking pick up or takeout orders at this time. I understand that everyone is understaffed right now, and I think that is part of why myself and others would actually be understanding and willing to wait for a longer period of time to come pick up the food. It kind of just leaves a bad taste on your tongue and makes you not even consider Red Robin in the future because you don’t really want to have to waste your time calling a couple different locations just to be told you are out of luck altogether. Just accept the order, and tell us that it will be a longer than usual wait time. Standard business practice, but will probably end up being more...
