T.J. Maxx — Local services in Town of Colonie

I just want to say that there are a lot of honest people working here. I’ve shopped here a lot since I used to work very close to this location. I’ve always been treated very nice here but it all took an amazing turn when Thursday night (last night) I went shopping here with husband and as sick as I felt we had to do some Christmas shopping, I went to the bathroom and without even realizing what I was doing I took my wedding rings off and placed them on the vanity sink and left them there without realizing , until I got home and the store was already closed. I was completely destroyed I felt I had lost them completely, forever but I showed up this morning and waited for them to open the store. I explained what had happened to the manager and she was so kind to let me in and check the bathroom, later to find out it wasn’t there. When I felt I lost hope I heard her shouting good news! Someone found my rings in the bathroom and left a note at their office. I almost couldn’t believe it. I just want to say how grateful I am for people like you. It was a christmas miracle for me to have my rings back after all. They are very valuable to me and it means the world to know there are still people like you amongst us. God bless and best...

This is my Favorite TJMaxx Store....I go all the time and even when I travel I love stopping by and shopping and seeing what different stores have to offer...depending on location. This store is always so clean and organized with great merchandise. I especially like it because it feels very homey. The manager Marina, goes out of her way to make each customer feel welcomed and appreciated. Even though its a big chain , the employees treat me with such courtesy and with personalized attention like a small local business does for their repeat customers.The other day the sales associate, Rashaiya, was so pleasant, kind , and courteous to engage with. I had to write a review to let them know my appreciation. During these challenging crisis times as a nation, being treated with great customer service is really special and makes my day..therefore I want to pass that energy on to others throughout my day. 2019 is going to be the best year ever for TJ Maxx in Latham if they continue to employ people like "Shi"!!! This young man went above and beyond to help me. A lady apparently didn't know how the line worked and went at the opposite end as I was waiting at the correct entrance. Shi saw this and immediately opened up another register. Talk about service. He also noticed that my purchase was a bit damaged and reduced the price a dollar. Come on now--who does that! A dollar is a dollar and I was so impressed by the gesture.
