Golden Wok — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

Ordered home style tofu, did not expect soup. Tofu was spongey. Entire dish drowning in sauce. Called — the woman talked over me the entire time with excuses that did not explain what was in front of me. It was inedible. Nothing like anything I had seen before with this particular dish from this place, or any other place.

She repeatedly interrupted and talked over me enough that I had to yell over her to complete a sentence. At one point she just left the conversation and said we were “disconnected”. Or “you broke up for a minute”.

She said they would make it again and I could come pick it up. I explained I was home with three children and unable to. I asked for the dish to be refunded. She refused. She hung up on me.

Not to mention the shrimp with broccoli that had six pieces of shrimp and an egregious ratio to broccoli.

This is a horrific Chinese "restaurant". let me start by saying it was at least decent for a time, but int he last few weeks it has begin to slide. Food can take anywhere up to an hour and a half to be delivered three miles, and I'm not talking about a complicated order for a party of six. No, I am talking about a lunch order that consists of Chicken Sticks, Beef Sticks and soup. Now, an hour and a half is a long time for a simple twelve dollar order, but what makes it worse is that the beef sticks crumble, yes crumble, when taken out of the package. When questioned about the state of the food, a new order of Beef sticks was sent, it arrived 45 minutes later, and they still crumbled, hard as a rock and brittle. Have been coming here for a couple of years or more food was always awesome. Went here recently and prices went through the roof. Looked on their website as always and placed my order. Went to pick up and gave her my card almost $ 40.00 for 4 egg rolls a large beef and broccoli and a general's chicken. I asked why so expensive was told prices went up!! I understand they have to raise prices in this economy but 30 to 40 % no way. Come to find out they are pricing food by door dash.. Why would I pay the price of door dash and pick it up myself. They giggled and laughed and I left. This is one customer that will never be back.
