Low price per foot but now I know why. Framing is off with multiple reel transfers (which is not how the original films were), "Enhanced" version of the films resulted in a horizontal stretch because they converted a 4:3 aspect ratio film scan into a 16:9 format. No other enhancements made, to color or quality of the image. Just the stretch, which is not an enhancement. Poor attention to detail, poor QC.

The results I received from this service include mistakes that should not occur with proper QC, or a professional who truly understands various video and film formats.

The first two images show the original transfer without "enhancement" (which I'm glad I requested) followed by the "enhanced" version of the same transfer which is stretched from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio. 8mm film aspect ratio is 4:3, and should never be converted to a wide format since it will stretch the image.

The last two images image show a projection of a specific reel done at my house, with no frame offset present, followed by the transfer version revealing frame offset which occurred during transfer, ruining the image.

Unusable, distorted, and the quality of the transferred footage is sub-par. Artifacts from compression or low quality video transfer. I will have to have these redone properly by someone else.
