Update: I added stars because ATT went above and beyond to correct this and now my phone bill is lower and I have better service! I reached out and Jeff came to my place of employment and got me all set up with FirstNet service. I've had it for 4 months now and am very impressed. I really appreciate they took the time to make things right. I can't speak as to how the instore employees are now a days, but the upper management made it right. I have since visited the Erie store and that is smooth plus you can set appointments just an FYI. Thanks Jeff!
Original review: I dont know the name of my associate (maybe susan?) but she really messed up my phone! I went in on Wednesday and was going to transfer service from straight talk to att. She gave the wrong account number and pin during the number transfer so I have been without a phone for 3 days! She tried to blame straight talk and told me it could take 3 to 5 business days for them to release my number. She also threw out my straight talk sim card (I have to call the store today and see if MAYBE she set it aside). If she had not done that id probably still be able to use my phone right now. I have a 3 month old and work 8 to 4 so it's really hard to not to be able to be contacted. 3 more days and I should recieve a new sim card from straigh talk. I am 100% staying with straight talk and never trying for att again! Honorable mention to the rude guy who answered the phone when I called and tried to explain I was in the store earlier and they messed up my account number which was hindering the transfer process. He was condescending! I am also a first responder and when I called about the discounts they were basically trying to get me off the phone and were not helpful at all. Read moreThis would be 0 starts if I could give that. I have been with At&T since April. Worst experience ever. Every month since April I have had to call as they have messed up my billing. It is now August and I am on hold with another AT&T rep that has had me on hold for 10 minutes and counting. I am not hanging up just to see how long it actually takes for them to return to the line if they ever do. My payment is due the 8th of every month, but every month AT&T tries to take another payment on the 24th, so I was advised by AT&T to cancel the auto pay until its fixed and it should be fixed by August bill. Well i am now getting an alert that my account is pass due which led me to the current call. I have asked to speak with supervisors but never transferred. I have spoken to the people in the local store, I have been connected to billing and collections then back to billing and still having the issue with no luck. How do I get in contact with higher ups. I had Sprint for 7 years and never had these issues. only switched to AT&T because my local sprint office closed. This was the worst mistake I have ever made. It so sad that good customer service is so hard to get now a days. I spend $200 a month on phones, why do I have to be on the phone with this company every month for hours with no resolution compensation or apologize. Read moreWhenever i have to come to this a t and t store I have always had a good experience. All the employees have always been knowledgeable and eager to help. I have not never had a negative experience here. Today I had to come in and had Eddie immediately greet me and offer to help. He did an amazing job, not just with helping with my issue, but was very personable and friendly. He defiantly is an asset to your company. As he was helping me Anita and Nikki came over to double check that all was going ok and thought that that was awesome. It showed to me that the store has team players that work there. Everyone always seems so upbeat and seem to enjoy being at work. I also have noticed that the same people work there. That says something about this store and your company that there is not a big turnover in employees. I wanted to send a positive note about this particular store.
