Scam artists! After signing up for their monthly membership (in which I never signed a contract), I was told I could put the membership on hold at any time. So a few months in I put it on hold and was NEVER informed that I would still be charged a monthly fee while my account was on hold. When I saw this on my credit card bill, I went it to the Appleton store (after about 5 failed attempts at leaving voicemails - no one answers the phone or bothers calling back), I stopped in the store and they informed me that I had a few more months to use up yet so I "unfroze" my account, and finished the required 6 months. When the 6 months was over, I again tried calling to cancel, and no one would call back. So I went in the store and canceled on a Thursday. That Saturday my card was charged AGAIN for another month. Of course I had to stop back in AGAIN as no phone call was returned. I informed them that I never signed a contract and they said that I did and they would find it and call me about it. They have okay customer service and their beds are unfortunately on a timed start. So you'll have to rush to the bed, strip off your clothes, apply tanning lotion & jump into the bed in under 5 minutes before the bed automatically starts on you. They do however, have the Rolls Royce of tanning beds! Their one & only level 5 bed and "no burn" bed are amazing! Go slowly, in increments to build a base depending on your skin type. Buy a tanning lotion, one with a bronzer is best. Using a tanning lotion will help you keep your tan longer & darker; not using a tanning lotion you'll be losing out on 40% of your tan. Remember to moisturize your skin and hydrate with water, especially after tanning. Buy some, borrow some, just wear some tanning goggles to protect your delicate eyes from harmful UV radiation. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. I used to love and boast about this place and the tanning beds but lately things have really gone down hill. Like everything else, their prices are increasing but the quality of the beds are not. I’m finding myself waiting longer and longer each time I want to tan and with only one or 2 of the higher up beds at each location unless I want to wait 20+ min I have to use lower level beds. The quality of these beds are terrible. Most of the fans don’t work and you’re lucky if the facial tanner lights stay on the entire time either. If prices are going to continue to increase they really need to think about improving their beds or at least making sure they all work.
