Expressions Floral & Gift Shoppe — Local services in Town of Hamburg

Last Thursday evening, after hours, my sons and I ordered the "custom flower design" option online from Expressions to be delivered to my lovely mother-in-law, who had just been given a dire cancer diagnosis and was told that she had not many months to live. I figured Expressions would get to it by the following Monday, which seemed fine under the circumstances. To my surprise, they delivered a beautiful bouquet the very next morning, Friday. My mother-in-law was delighted and texted me, "What lovely flowers. Thank you. I'm reminded that I am so lucky to have so many people who love me." I am heartbroken to say that she unexpectedly went into a coma the very next day, Saturday, so those were the last words I will ever hear from her. Although our wedding was in Buffalo, we used Expressions for our flowers because my husband had used them previously for prom and had a good experience and his family is from Hamburg. Jeanie and her staff at Expressions are so professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. Jeanie has so much experience and gave me such great advice. All the flowers for my wedding came our perfect: the bouquets, boutonnieres, table arrangements, and alter flowers. Jeanie really listened to my vision and made it come to life! The flowers were fresh and vibrant and I was so pleased with everything. They even traveled from Hamburg to Buffalo and personally delivered the flowers to my girls and I at the salon we were using, then the boys at the church, and finally the table arrangements at our reception. I would definitely use them for all my floral needs again...

Went in to pick up prom flowers, we spent a half hour trying to figure out what color we wanted so to match the dress, only to pick them up and not have the flower that we wanted. The woman decided to make the change and not call or ask us if it was ok. That wasn't the biggest issue, I respect her making a change because she wasn't happy with the quality of the rose, however the way she spoke to me when I questioned if that was the roses that were picked out. She was extremely rude and talked down to us. We ended up returning the flowers, getting a refund and going across the street to Hess, where they were so friendly, accommodating and made the arrangements in a half hour.
