They were charging 3.99 for 4 cans of cat food. Then they are now charging 6.99 for one can and 4 cans same price. I pointed this out to the mgr. He says that corporate sets the rates. Then proceeded to take the 3.99 and 1.09 sticker off the shelf when I pointed it out and didnt put a new sticker up in the 3 weeks I checked. Robbery. Also if you ask for a refund the mgr says if you paid with a bank card meaning debit or credit they cant refund your money. Only if you pay with cash. So if you buy 2 cans of 5.5 oz cat food and they charge you 15$ you cant get your money back if you disagree and dont want to be ripped off. Scammy practices. Nassau County Dept of Consumer Affairs should be monitoring these businesses. But no one answers the phone at the county or returns calls so all these businesses get away with ripping people off. Stopped for gas because it was a good price. I used the tap method with my card but even though it was a debit card they were charging me credit card prices which is 10 cents more a gallon so be careful of that. Next we never had Tony Horton donuts so we decided to get a dozen. 10 minutes and asking for help we walked out. If gas and donuts is too much to ask when 4 employees are standing around then we don't need to go there anymore.
