Bravo Supermarkets — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Store is average. This community is too big with more than one nationality living in this area. This store is arranged for one culture and to get equal service and variety of products I have to go to another neighborhood. Have to admit, Bravo is better than Key Food. Unfortunately African American discrimination is present in both stores but Bravo is the lesser of 2 evils. Was thinking about renting an apartment in this area but never mind. Very small and well stocked supermarket with Latino and ethnic products. If you go on a Sunday it's a zoo and hard to get out once you've paid but lots of great products like Mexican spices and herbs, fresh baked bread, herbs like loroco a small fresh flower, which is used in Salvadoran food. Good butcher and produce dept also lots of ethic dairy products as they cater to the local residents. Also on Sunday there are ladies selling excellent tamales from the back of their cars We enjoyed a "wet" pork and veggie tamale for $2 that...

This place is very unpleasant to be in....will never ever shop here again. They only help latino customers who are on snap and wic benefits....the prices are sky freaking high at this store.....not professional are friendly to african customers..don't waste your money in this store period..when you come in the store...they automatically start following black people around....not having it and will not spend my money in any of these people stores..ever and all black people should...
