9/1/25 On this day, I go into JC's to purchase a small teriyaki chicken and rice, I asked the attending cashier for the price of a small and if I can have one, please. She proceeds to inform me that the price for the small med or large are all the same, which was 9 dollars and change, which included the extra $ for fried rice, that I requested. It kinda made no sense to me, so I brought it to her attention. She kept insisting those were the prices, ok np. I ordered the large, which would seem to make more sense. It bothered me so much that I returned a half our later to question her about it again, but this time the owner/manager had made it back from wherever he had gone, so I questioned him instead and received a totally different answer when asked about the prices of each size.
I said all that to say this, How can you trust a restaurant with the handling of your food, when they try to cheat you in the pricing? I was buying this for someone in need of a meal, I personally NEVER eat out ANYWHERE, for reasons mentioned above and MORE.
I don't know what her reasons for doing what she did, and do not want to speculate, but I do think the owner/manager should start looking at her "with a raised brow", if he really cares anything about the reputation and possible repercussions of his business. Read moreFirst of all i tried this out because i thought it would be competition to the one down the block but this was disgusting starting off with the service i asked for chicken teriyaki with noodles and rice and he said NO and i replied what do you mean NO, i told him i will pay extra after that he said nothing then i saw the lady in the back pull the chicken from a soup pot that was just sitting there for god knows how long before i got there and thats what i was served i gave them the benifit of the doubt and still gave it a try and the chicken was disgusting very chew and literally didnt even taste like teriyaki more like chicken and soy sauce… i would not recommend anyone here your better off down the street way...
