Key Food (Super) fresh — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Today was my third visit to the store. I intended to purchase two heroes with sharp cheddar cheese. A gentleman was seated on a stool near the deli, where I was about to place my order. We engaged in a brief conversation about good health and an employee whom I suspected might have had gout. I mentioned that winning the lottery is a form of good health, and we both agreed. As I stepped away, the gentleman spoke in Spanish to another gentleman standing in the same area. I turned and said, "Hey guys, I don't speak Spanish, only English and Portuguese. What were you discussing?" The gentleman on the stool became irate and told me, "I don't have to share what I said with you." I then said to him, "Hey, I was joking." Had I known he was a subcontractor waiting for potential customers for his services, I would not have interacted with him. Following his outburst, I immediately canceled my order of two heroes. Shortly after, the manager informed me that the gentleman was not part of the store's staff. I requested an apology for the subcontractor's behavior but received none. In my personal opinion that gentleman would have never created a scene like that jad he'd bern an employee, plus the manager made no attempt to jave this gentleman speak with me. The security gentleman told the manager that he'd seen me in the store prior. I left the store, crossed the street, and purchased my heroes from the shopping center Bravo, which offered a more affordable option with a greater variety of buns...

This grocery store is convenient because of its location easy to walk or drive to. The bakery is good its fresh pastries and breads, because of food prices raising so often its becoming expensive The down side of it is constant overcrowding of people an. The small fish market needs better ventilation to cut back of the smell of fish and fresh chicken so close by. My husband and I had to return a few packages of steak that turned brown only after 3 days of purchase an placed in freezer once we got home within minutes after grocery shopping. The store is always clean...
