To whom it may concern,
I am actually very upset and disappointed. I drove completely out of my way. Pass both Walt Whitman and Roosevelt Field Malls which are close to my home and malls of my preference to come to Macy's in Green Acres. I do this so I can have my personal shopping experience with Kamela Anthony at Estee Lauder. For the last twelve years, I have been making special trips to come to this store just so I can have my 1:1 sessions with her. She is the only person that understands and has been able to help with my skin issues. Always recommending a great combination of products that actually work.
She is also very personable and always friendly. Even when she’s there alone and overworked. I have been coming here for 12 years because of her GREAT service. This Macys’s is Ghetto, unkept, not friendly and helpful. Management seems degrading, prejudice and signs of racism to their subordinates from what I observe when I am there!
Besides the inconvenience you have caused me. I am completely appalled at the mistreatment of one of your exceptional, dedicated and veteran employees. How does a company fire an employee after almost 20 years of service. In addition, if as a consumer I know she’s a single parent than I am sure this stores knows as well. We all know she’s a single parent of not just one but three children. One of which is a little boy with autism. The services and resources for him alone are unimaginable! I can’t imagine how devasting this must be for her and her family. How drastically this will effect their way of surviving.
You guys should be ashamed of yourselves! And I will use my public platform to bring awareness of how your company treats minority, seasoned employees! We will not tolerate to continually have minorities mistreated. H&M is learning and so are other stores that discriminate or profile their employees and customers of color. Between having 7 on your side (abc) and help me howard (channel 11) and my own professional public platform this will not be overlooked. No more mistreatment and blantant disregard of minority subordinates! This willl not be tolerated!
I’d never shop at this...

Read moreI went there twice in one week. The place was clean. The only thing, they have people working there, who are not educated on their products or the products location. you seen lots of smiling faces however those faces were short of help. I use to work for Macy's and let me tell you in the early 2000's we used to have meetings every morning informing us of sales encouraging us to make sales and encouraged us to know more than just our area. In this case, there were two people in one area and not one had knowledge of linen shorts or pants. Was ready to send me all over the moon however... I use to work the men's department in Manhasset and took myself back in my mind about the set up and guess what... I found EXACTLY what I was looking for. Where is the encouragement, commitment, education on products and proper customer service? The 3 stars comes from how clean the store was. I asked a cashier there if they still have meetings to support customer service and the staff the young lady said no. I told her, it shows in the lack of services provided. I got what I needed and wanted and the store was clean. Also passing through the scent section, people ready to grab you to make a sale... On ANYTHING. Again, there was no persuasiveness, not one sales person to say what are you looking for exactly, or I understand you like this smell may I show you something that is a bit similar but at a more affordable price, or we have this sale today and what it would normally go for or anything. They hand you a strip of whatever they are trying to push and let you keep walking. Proper CUSTOMER SERVICE and support is well...
