Momo Stop — Local services in Town of Hempstead

I’ve been driving past the spot for a few days now and my eldest son is obsessed with anything “dumpling”-like So last night we went out and did dinner for the family. We ordered the tandoori Momo’s (paneer), Steamed chicken Momos, fried veggie momo’s, chow mein, spring rolls, and the chicken drumstick (the name escapes me!). My youngest son didn’t think he was interested until he smelled all the delicious food coming from the bags. Everything was made to order so it was hot and fresh and the smell was intoxicating. It was also truly packed to ensure even those most erratic driving wouldn’t injure the contents. We had no leftovers and even our pickiest eater loved it. Absolutely incredible! Momo Stop is hands down one of the best food trucks I’ve ever been to. The food is phenomenal — every bite is bursting with flavor. The momos are perfectly steamed with just the right balance of spice and tenderness, and the dipping sauce? Pure magic. I also tried the chili momo, and it was out of this world — spicy, savory, and totally addictive.

But what really sets Momo Stop apart is the customer service. The staff are unbelievably friendly and welcoming — they genuinely care about your experience and it shows. Even when they were busy, they took the time to explain the menu and made sure everything was just right.

If you’re anywhere near this truck, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait...

I was really excited to try this momo cart since me and my wife just moved to the area and we love momos. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We waited for over 30 minutes for our order while the person taking orders was more focused on chatting with people he knew rather than serving customers in line. What really frustrated us was seeing him serve his friends and customers who ordered after us, completely ignoring those who had been waiting patiently.

It’s understandable if things are busy, but basic fairness and customer service were completely missing. We ended up walking away after waiting too long and being disrespected. Won’t be...
