I just left from a very delightful and successful trip to Meenu Kumar Collections and I would recommend it to anyone starting from zero whole needs to build an outfit as a guest to an Indian wedding when they themselves are not Indian.

I am curvy/busty and a size 18. My bust especially makes me a size 48-50 in Indian formal attire. I went to three other places in the area that were all quick to turn me away because of my budget ($150 tops) and especially my size.

Not the salespeople at Meenu’s! I came in and was immediately greeted with kindness and warmth, and not treated like the outsider that I clearly am and the bigger girl that I am too. I was shown many many options of seven or eight different styles in my size, and when things were tight was immediately told they could be altered to fit with total confidence and zero attitude.

It was a total above and beyond experience, and considering I came in 1.) unfamiliar with the culture 2.) with a short deadline (a week before the wedding!) 3.) a larger size than most places carry and 4.) unwilling to spend a lot because I would only be wearing it for this one event, the hardworking ladies and Meenu Kumar REALLY did their thing and were amazing! I’m leaving extremely satisfied and would recommend this place to anyone...

I saw this first hand. Your helpfulness and attention to detail make shopping at your store a pleasure. I spent two hours trying on beautiful outfits. There was no pressure to buy anything and all of you were very patient with me.
