I have NEVER had such poor customer service like i did yesterday at the store in Freeport NY . The first employee i asked to help looked at me as if i was going to eat him So i asked Can you help me ? Or you don't want too ? So he processed to say he just started working there ! Okay understandable the next worker was truly a sweet heart an actually helped me. After I approached another young man kindly asked him a question,Well he stopped & just looked at me sooo i asked him could you help me ? Or Are you on break or just don't feel like working? Now the reason i responded that way is because He looked so bothered by me asking for help . His replied was you asked a question so i have to answer but he didn't! he turned around without saying anything Walking towards what i was looking for and still i Thanked him. As i was checking out the same young man was standing next to the cashier just socializing. A customer came up to him and asked for something as soon as she walked away . He turned to the cashier that was helping me to tell him He hates "when people ask dumb questions looking for something and it's right in front of them." So being that he was the gentlemen who i asked for help before i checked out . I turned to him after he said that comment "But isn't that your job to help customers? And of course he was caught off guard with my replied and tried to justify the comment but with That being said whatever manager runs that store really needs to retrain their staff you have a million workers in the store and all i ever see them do is socializing among one another. I am pretty sure in their job description part of it, is to have Good customer service. Your employee shouldn't be talking about your customers especially when he was surrounded by...

SO,I SAID I WAS IN A RUSH BC HERE IT WAS ALMOST 8PM AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING SINCE 8:15AM, WELL TRIED TO CHECK OUT AT THE PHOTO CENTER...I WAS NOT ALLOWED UNLESS PURCHASING FROM THERE AS WELL. SO WENT TO CHECK OUT COUNTER,NOT 1 SALESPERSON IN SIGHT.ALL BESIDES THE 1 TEXTING STANDING IN FRONT OF THE RWGISTER WHERE THE INK & TONER ARE KEPT, TO WHICH I HAD TO ASK IF HE WORKED THERE AND COULD HE RING THIS UP BC I ONLY SAID LOUDLY 4 TIMES DOES ANYONE WORK HERE?? OH, AND HIS WIFE AND KIDS WERE "VISITING" BEHIND THE REGISTER IN THE INK AND TONER SECTION,WHICH IS NOT SELF SERVICE LIKE IT IS IN ALL OTHER STORES. I DON'T USUALLY LIKE TO LEAVE COMMENTS LIKE THIS BUT,I WORK HARD AND I HAVE PILES OF WORK I CAN'T GET THROUGH ALL BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO WORK. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchase all of my printers and ink at this Staples. My printer died and I went to purchase another one. The manager Chris assisted me in finding a new one that met my needs. The store was out of the model I selected so he ordered it for me and it arrived 2 days later as promised. The printer didn't work and had to be returned. What would normally be a nightmare turned into the best customer service experience I have had bar none. I called Chris and informed him of what the problem was. Chris assured me he would do everything he could to make it right. Chris came and got the printer and returned it to the store for me. The printer was heavier than my previous one and it would have been difficult for me to do it myself. Of course I want a printer that works but what is more important to me is the people I do business with and the quality of the service they provide.
