Suburbia is the best! There is a noticeable difference in the quality of the meat. I just moved back from the city and get meat there for every special occasion as I did when I was a kid growing up in Bellmore. I remember going there with my mom and helping to pick out what I wanted for Sunday dinner. Of course it's more money than the supermarket but that's because the meat is a better quality and more flavorful. The staff is incredibly helpful and will happily advise you on how much you need when you tell them how many guests etc. One time, owner David made a delivery for us on his way home since the delivery guy had left already. You don't get that kind of service anymore unfortunately. I highly recommend this "old school"...

The filet mignon roasts were absolutely delicious, we fried them in rich butter with garlic before we threw them in the oven. Probably the best meat I've ever had and I have eaten at a lot of fancy steak restaurants.

Dave Feldman, the owner, and the crew are absolutely wonderful and provide an elegant rock and roll experience for customers to enjoy as we wait for our tasty meat.

A lot of the meat found in grocery stores or even other butchers is tainted, the quality of Dave's shop is miles ahead of any other...

Complete ripoff. The guy definitely charged me 3 times more than he should have for 2 ribeye steaks. I went to a different butcher and bought 3 steaks that each weighed as much as both of the steaks I bought from this place. All 3 together were much cheaper than the steaks I got from suburbia!!

Staff was extremely unhelpful and obnoxious, do not go here unless you like...
