Rather, VERY Good foods; nice drink selections; good take-home; &, eat-there: foods' choices; reasonable; nice service; understandable; relatively affordable prices; (though some of their price tags, are, indeed, quite elevated); an impressively, overall large-sized menu; comfortable; pleasant seating; &, seating area; attentive to high level of hygiene; clean bathrooms; attention to serving waiting lines; usable to go wrappings; nice parking; good abilities to self-create teas; cocoas; coffees; &, to go accompaniment items; a, reasonably clean physical premises; etc.; &, extra plus points earned, for: also selling: tofu cream cheese/non-dairy spreadable cheese w/: a, very good taste; &: a, fantastic dessert like their: bobka cake; &, their rather nice pre-packaged meals; &, meal items; &, snack items; along with the nice ability to order foods to go that differ little in quality of eating experience; &, tastes, from their eat-in items; offering nice sized food servings; &, when they're serving their own drink items, these are: not too hot; nor, too cold; pleasant amount of menu, food item categories that're available for customers to select; they employ a pretty, darn good; &, certainly, overall a, hardworking staff/crew, overall; Etc. I'd really want to start requesting these, 3, things: -1.: More of the the best pastries; &, baked goods, to be sold as: Single Sized Servings, for: of course, single persons; those: with-out; any, attached set of family members; despite those items suffering from lower sales figures!!!. -2.: Management running things, w/: a, much lighter touch!; gentler hand!; &, softer style! -3.: More oftentimes being, far: less forceful in serving; and, allowing themselves to back off; &, give more distance to customers who do desire those service styles, of acting, much: softer; much calmer, relaxed, far more: sensitive, caring, warm, understanding, loving, &, tolerant, &, less rough, less assumptive, less high-strung, less overly-burned out; &, overly-stressed-out, less anxiety-ridden, less enfuriated, less negatively, emotionally reactive, less pushy, less obnoxious, less loud, less noisy, less hyperactive, less gruff, less haughty, less entitled, less heavy-handed, less critical, less sarcastic, less gruff, less skeptical, less harsh, less judgemental, less rushed, less confrontational, less in your face, less impatient, less demanding, less hot, less arrogant, less rude, less impolite, less angry, &, know-it-all; &, far less full of all this hugely Un-Pleasant attituded stuff!!

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I cannot stay silent about what happened today 8/21/25. My sister-in-law, a highly respected doctor in her field and a longtime patron of Bagel Boss Merrick, who is also of Puerto Rican descent, had a deeply disturbing experience with one of your staff members a older gentleman.

When she went to pay for her order, she handed over exact change (15 cents so she wouldn’t get change back). The employee responded by saying, “Oh, you have exact change good, I won’t have to call ICE and have you deported.”

Shocked, my sister-in-law asked him to repeat what he said, and the employee again made the same comment, implying he would call ICE to deport her.

This type of behavior is unacceptable especially in today’s political climate. For a staff member to use such discriminatory and threatening language toward a loyal customer is outrageous. No one should ever be made to feel unsafe or unwelcome in a place of business because of their heritage or background.

This employee should be held accountable, and I strongly urge Bagel Boss Merrick’s management to take immediate action. Customers deserve respect, not...

The menu on website much different in store, location is kosher so they do not mix meat & diary. Which is fine but an indication of such on the menu is helpful to a meat lover who enjoys turkey bacon or turkey sausage. I orders a everything bagel with egg cheese & veggie bacon which is what they offered I said fine. Ordered a cinnamon raisin with cream cheese as well. Got back bagel flavorless. Food flavorless. They even asked would you like salt & pepper I said yes and I don’t think saying no would have made any difference in it being there. There was barely any cheese, the veggie bacon is literally like sliced deli meat just heated up so flavorless it is truly unbelievable. Even the cinnamon raisin bagel was flavorless like HOW. It is very conflicting with the comments people put because do you not have taste buds? It is not the first second or third time i have tried the chain & it is such a flop.
