Verizon — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Worst customer service , go to any other store like Rockville Centre where they know how to speak to people. Called in on a Sunday to ask a simple question as a repeat retuning customer with 6 lines and a business line. My first call I was hung up on after saying hello and my second call the person who answered literally cut me off while beginning to explain why I’m calling and said “ I’m with another customer right now and really busy, everyone is busy can you call back later” now the tone and the feeling of being bothered by my call can not be expressed through this review so if your reading and say what he did isn’t a big deal it is. As an expert myself in customer service and a CEO this agent would not be in my company taking calls if he was the last rep on earth. If people can’t work under pressure in retail they should maybe go work at a library where the pace is much slower. This store upgraded my daughters phone without my consent. The store salesperson accessed my account and bypassed the standard security creating an order for a 36 month contract with my 16 year old daughter. My daughter had been told the phone was heavily discounted. It's actually $840 over a 36 month contract. When I got an email notifying me of the order I called Verizon. They could not cancel the order. When I went to the store they initially denied that there was an order. Then they stated that the order could not be canceled. After 30 minutes of argument they called to cancel the order. However the order remained in effect. I talked to 7 different people from Verizon who all basically said there was nothing they could do. Avoid this store...

Watch out for the shady employees here at Verizon. This is a re seller store acting as an official Verizon dealership. They are not and when you purchase from them, Verizon Corporate office can not help you because you did not purchase from an actual Verizon store.

Especially watch out for Manny and Vinny. These 2 will lie and fast talk you into deals, when in reality they say one thing and then do another.

They also lie about the phone rebates. I added 2 lines and 6 months later the rebates still have not shown up. They keep the rebates for themselves, and when you follow up with them they will either lose your contract info, or constantly lie about not being in the store with a promise to get...
