THE THEATRICAL RELEASE... Best buy is a great place for electronics, household appliances, video, gaming and much more. The store is always neat and clean and the shelves tidy. The only thing, the reason for the 4 stars, is they constantly bug you. Everytime we turn a corner someone is asking if we need assistance. Now I know they are supposed to do this however, when a staff member sees another one come up to us they don't need to do the same a couple minutes later. Their prices on some things are good and on others not so much. I would definaltely recommend price shopping. They will price match with certain restrictions which is an added benefit. We like to just go into the store to just look and dream about that 75" QLED Samsung 4K tv being in our livingroom.
THE DIRECTOR'S CUT... We all know Best Buy, they are an electronic, household appliance, video and gaming store. They also carry a wide variety of computers, laptops, cell phone from various carriers and much more.
I usually find that their prices are a little high on most items as compared to other stores in the area. We recently purchased a Samsung front load washer and dryer from them but did find it at a lower price at another store. The main reasons we purchased from Best Buy was that they matched the price and were offering free delivery and install at the time. That saved us about $110, it's not a lot but every penny counts.
The staff are always friendly but I find them very intrusive most of the time. We are the type of people that if we need help we will ask for it. A couple of years ago you could barely find anyone around to help you if you needed it. Today someone is asking if you need assistance when you turn almost every corner. Personally that is very annoying, but that is just the way we are. I suffer from extreme anxiety and PTSD so I take medication when I go out in public. Someone coming up to me, especially from behind, will put me into a panic attack. I know they don't know this but, they should understand that anyone could have issues like this and should approach everyone with caution.
I have used their Geek Squad to install a new aftermarket stereo and dash cam I purchsed on Amazon in My 2004 Nissan Xterra and they did a great job. The staff member that did the install was curtious and called when she ran into an issue with the install. She needed to create a bracket to secure the stereo and it would cost a little extra which was no problem but the call was greatly appreciated. I do think the price to install is a little high, all total I believe it was just under $200. The stereo install was $99 plus $19 for the bracket and the dash cam was $69 if I remember correctly. It is warranted so that is a plus. The job was done professionally and quickly, just under two and a half hours.
Best Buy is a great place to just walk around and dream in. If there is nothing else to do and we are out we will stop by and check things out. We always dream of that 75" 4K tv, the new kitchen appliances and a great surround sound system. While their prices are on the higher side they do price match so always price shop before you purchase. There are some restrictions on the price matching so check out their policy either in store or online.

Read moreUnless you already know exactly what you want...DO NOT GO HERE. I don't shop at best buy often so I'm not sure if this location is terrible or the company in general is becoming garbage. However, I have given this store several chances in the past two weeks or so and every time I went in wanting to buy something and every time left without buying a thing.. because of the customer service, actually lack thereof. Let's ignore the fact that there's a huge board boasting expert service in the store. A few years ago there used to be employees in every department, and they were borderline annoying like a commission salesperson. Now they have one person at the entrance sitting in front of a podium who should not be working customer service at all based on their clueless and exhausted attitudes. It's multiple people who I have encountered that don't belong as the first face customers interact with upon entering. You're then put on a "list" of customers who are waiting for help. Problem is, now there's like one employee for every 10 customers if you're lucky. Which means you will wait a long time. Just for someone to say they don't know how to help you. If they even show up at all. This last time I didn't even get service. Just told someone would be right over and after 25 minutes nothing. Apparently they don't realize that their job is customer service. Instead of whatever else they are prioritizing. Especially I made it clear that I need help with my WiFi 7 setup and all the guy could say during a visit was go buy an Ethernet cable and run through your entire house. It's not 1999. Basically they are incredibly unhelpful and don't know much of anything. I have been forced to buy products elsewhere and I saw another customer in a similar situation except best buy blew them off in their attempt to buy a new refrigerator. I laughed when I saw that person at another store later that day giving someone else the business. Also, be warned..the website is usually incorrect. It'll say they're out of products when they are not or say something is in stock which actually is not. They got a second star because they have better selection of products in the area, but that doesn't mean much if customers like us have to buy elsewhere. Seems like it's become more of a hangout for computer nerds who want to stand around getting paid to talk about their gaming habits. Very disappointed. Remember when Best buy was exciting, efficient and useful place for electronic needs. I really don't think I'll go back here unless I find out management has returned from whatever deep sleep they're in. Especially during the holiday season if they had half a clue, would have staffed the company with enough competent employees. Obviously that didn't happen and anyone walking into this location will...
Read moreI went to this location on 3/1/21 to look at the Microsoft Surface Duo as the Best Buy I normally go to into Greece doesn't have one on display. When I entered the store there was no one at the LP desk nor was there a greeter at the door. Luckily the mobile department is right by the entrance so I proceeded there so I could look at the device I was interested in. When I entered the department there was a female associate assisting a customer with a glass screen protector.
Since I didn't want to interrupt her I looked at a few of the display tables to see if I could find the device on my own but I wasn't able to locate it. I started to walk towards computers, I saw another associate and asked where the Surface Duo was? He walked me over to the device and asked me if I had any questions. I advised him that I was just looking but if I did that I would let him know!
The device was on display and powered on BUT the demo software was not functional and I was unable to bypass it so I couldn't test out the devices features. Now I could have asked for assistance but I shouldn't have to because the demo device should have been fully functional! While I tried to bypass the demo I noticed 3 associates talking to each other and not one of them came over to ask if I had additional questions! Needless to say I left the store and when I was leaving an associate wished me a nice day which was the first time someone interacted with me directly!
I am not sure if the store management team will see this but you really got to train your employees better. I should have been greeted or at least acknowledged as soon as I entered the department, the associate should have advised me of her name and that once done she would be right with me but none of that happened. I think when the new Surface Duo 2 device comes out I will buy it directly from Microsoft instead of coming...
