I have always loved shopping at Target and have had great experiences with the friendly and helpful staff. However, today’s experience was truly disappointing.
I went to return an item with the original receipt, a valid purchase record, and within the return period. When I bought it, the staff at the original store clearly told me that I could return it to any Target location within 30 days. However, when I arrived at this store, the female manager immediately had a bad attitude, with a stern face, questioning me aggressively and refusing to process my return. She kept coming up with various excuses to deny my return, yet she was unable to provide any official policy document that supported her claims.
While my return was eventually accepted, the whole experience was unnecessarily frustrating. It’s really unfortunate that one person’s poor attitude can negatively impact a customer’s impression of Target, a store I’ve always trusted and enjoyed shopping at. Read moreMy family and I went to this location in order to register for my baby shower.
First of all, the customer service at the guest desk was much less than helping. I first approached the kiosk in order to start my registry, and ended up choosing the store's handheld unit rather than my phone to scan items. I went back to the desk and she handed it to me, with 13% battery life, and turned and walked away. It was up to us to figure out how to use it.
Secondly, the place was a mess. It was a Saturday (around 5pm) and I completely understand that it is probably one of the two most busy days of the week. The shelves were EMPTY, product was thrown everywhere, and there were no employees to be seen in order to help us.
We ended up leaving, with only about 10 items on our registry (mostly clothes), in hopes that we could add from a computer or phone at a later date.
I am very disappointed in this store. We normally go to the Greece location and never have any problems. We stopped at another store close to this one and decided to give it a try. We will not return to this...
Read moreeither their staff is not well trained or they are full of lies. that is what I got from recent couple trips with Henrietta target. first their Starbucks staff told me I can not exchange my Starbucks gift card with new start bucks gift card for Christmas present. any customer is totally able to do gift card exchange in all the rest of Starbucks stores, including Starbucks in webster target, why only your store associate made it so difficult.
then their customer service staff told me all target baby welcome kit has been recalled. so they wont have any, and they doesn't know when new patch will come, none of store current has it, so forget about it. why no new about this recall? their corporate doesn't know about it either(FYI, corporate will ship one to your home, if store is out of stock.) if you don't have in stock, simply just say check on other target store, or call corporate, why make up story to cheat...
