I had a very unpleasant experience and visit to the dentist on September 9th, at 9 am. The dentist/doctor working that morning was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not only to me but also to his assistant- who he snapped at because he needed something. I liked this office up until now, but at this point I will be finding a new dentist to go to. From the time he walked in the room- you could already tell he was in a bad mood, he was completely dismissive and did not listen to, or hear a single thing I said. But then kept asking me the same questions over and over again to which- I had to repeat myself about 5x each question. I'm not sure what the deal is but- if you're not happy in your career- find a new job instead of making other people miserable. People are supposed to be able to come there and rely on you and trust you that you know what you're doing - but I didn't feel that way at all that day. You didn't have one solution for one of my problems, you did not help me at all- so not really sure why you are in this field. But I hope other people don't have to have- the unpleasant experience of having to deal with you- the way you were that day. Coming to the dentist is already not a great experience for anyone, and you just made it worse. You need to work on your professionalism and not take your crap out on somebody because you're having a bad day - nobody deserves that. I was made to feel as if coming here isn't a safe idea for my teeth because you seemed completely incompetent that day. I had just gotten off of a 10-hour shift and then had to come there and deal with that crap, thank you for ruining my morning. And making it so I now have to go out of my way and be inconvenienced to find a new dentist. People should never have to feel this way. Nobody cares anymore. And this is quality of care that poor people's insurance will get...
Read moreI'm putting this out there, for the people that read reviews! I had my first covid shot in Feb and when the appt was made the ladies at OAK ORCHARD HEALTH WERE WONDERFUL! Since they share receptionists ,They also made me an appointment for the OAK ORCHARD DENTAL. I went today for a denture consult. I have a temporary plate that does not fit and have had it since 2012. It turned into a full exam, xray, cleaning, extraction of two teeth and follow-up appointment for a filling and continuation for a permanent upper plate and a partial lower plate. THEY WERE COURTEOUS, INFORMATIVE AND GENTLE! I was not rushed, and everything was explained fully. Since I was 9 years old, I have not had a full mouth of teeth, I had "flippers" until my late 40's and many dentists and appointments that were horrific!
Some of the reviews for both services were unbelievable! I can't understand where some of them came from! THANK YOU OAK ORCHARD HEALTH. THANK YOU AGAIN LADIES AT OAK ORCHARD DENTAL. Dr. RACHEL S....
Read moreSo far have had two appointments with my child there. The environment is clean. Had trouble checking in with the kiosk the first time. Overheard a receptionist tell a parent in a condescending tone that she was late for her appointment. Each visit we spent 1.5hr there. Most of that time was spent waiting to be seen. The first appointment we were told to return to the exam room and wait. The doctor returned twenty minutes later to tell us we were no longer needed. The actual one to one time with the doctor felt rushed. She even said “I’ve got five patients waiting, how many more questions do you have?” I was attempting to advocate for lab work for my child and she told me to make another appointment to discuss it as this was a “well child visit.” Not very tactful in discussing issues with a self...
